I’m an intuitive and caring mental health professional with over eight years of experience helping clients chart new paths and make meaningful life changes. I approach sensitive issues with maturity, confidentiality, and genuine compassion. My style is collaborative and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life—sometimes you just need a supportive partner to walk with you. I’m passionate about the mind‑body connection and supporting clients in building healthy, sustainable lifestyle changes that will make a positive impact on their life. I believe every person is capable of change with the right support. I’m here to empower you through barriers and celebrate your victories along the way. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton, with additional coursework from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. I've also earned a Bachelor’s in Business Management and Sociology from Wittenberg University. My professional background includes over 20 years in nonprofit work.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a gentle, collaborative conversation focused on getting to know you—your story, your strengths, and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your goals, your current challenges, and what you hope to change or heal. You’re welcome to share at your own pace; there is no pressure. My role is to listen with empathy, offer support, and begin building a plan that feels right for you. We’ll also talk through your history, any symptoms you’re experiencing, and what approaches might best fit your needs. I’ll explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and make sure you feel comfortable with the process. My intention is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident that you have a partner walking with you toward healing and growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my intuition, empathy, and ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard. I’m skilled at helping clients explore difficult experiences at a pace that feels comfortable. Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm presence, my ability to connect deeply, and my talent for helping them see their own strengths more clearly. What truly sets my work apart is the way I integrate mental, physical, and spiritual health. I honor each person’s God‑given strengths and help them use those strengths as tools for healing and growth. My goal is not just symptom relief—it’s helping clients move toward wholeness, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose. With almost 30 years of experience in nonprofit and helping professions, I bring a depth of understanding, compassion, and real‑world perspective to the therapy room. I believe every person is capable of change, and I’m committed to walking alongside clients as they overcome barriers and celebrate their successes.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Do you feel weighed down by past experiences, overwhelmed by life, or unsure how to reach your potential? I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your story, honor your God‑given strengths, and equip you with tools for healing and growth. My holistic approach considers your mental, physical, and spiritual well‑being, recognizing that true wholeness involves all three. I’d be honored to walk with you as you take your next step toward healing and wholeness. I enjoy working with mostly teens, young adults, adults, and middle-aged adults.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I meet people where they are and will see clients and treat them with respect and honor regardless of their religious beliefs. However, I understand that there are fellow believers in Christ that would like to seek out a therapist that can offer counseling from a faith perspective.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In sessions, I explore the thoughts and patterns that feel overwhelming or stuck, working collaboratively with clients. I guide clients with practical, compassionate tools—like reframing unhelpful beliefs, trying small behavioral steps, and building skills they can use every day—to help ease anxiety, lift mood, and feel more in control and hopeful.

EMDR

I'm trained in EMDR and I offer EMDR to clients in a compassion manner. We work side by side in a safe space, using gentle bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or taps) to help your mind reprocess painful memories, ease their hold, and bring real calm and strength.

Eclectic

Every client is different and I try to honor that in a person-centered, strength-based way. I pull from a variety of therapeutic techniques and theories and use what I feel is best for each client. You are unique and if there is an approach you prefer, please let me know.

Mind-body approach

I explore with clients how everyday choices—like nourishing foods, movement, rest, and daily practices-deeply support your emotional health and overall well-being. With gentle guidance, we uncover small, sustainable shifts that feel right for the client, helping balance mood, boost energy, ease stress, and foster a stronger sense of vitality and self-care.
