I work with you to install new believes that are true, that are not based out of fear, past trauma or self sabotage.

Hello - my name is Mary Van Hooser. I am an older therapist with lots of experience working with a wide variety of mental health struggles. I am easy to engage with, like to listen and enjoy helping you explore and process the concerns you're having in a non-judgmental manner. I am a wife, mother of grown children and have young grandchildren. I have lots of siblings, one having a chronic mental illness that has made me particularly non-judgmental and understanding of the impact this has on families. I admire those who reach out for help and see them as taking a huge step which takes courage.
Hi there! My name is Megan and I have been an LPCC for 9 years. My areas of focus are anxiety, coping skills, life changes, fertility issues and women's issues. I am here to create a comfortable and calm environment for us to work at your pace to meet your treatment goals and to make the changes you are seeking. I am here to be supportive and listen without judgment. I am looking forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey!
I’m someone who cares about real connection, steady progress, and creating a space where you can show up as yourself. I’ve spent years helping people sort through heavy thoughts, navigate big life changes, and rebuild a sense of direction.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and values-driven. I bring structure when it’s helpful and loosen it when you’re ready to lead. My communication style is calm, warm, and straightforward — I make space for you to speak freely, slow down, or dig deeper when you’re ready.
My background spans community mental health, integrated primary care, and work with people navigating some of life’s harder edges — chronic illness, trauma, and major life transitions. I’ve worked alongside people at a lot of different starting points, and that shapes how I show up: without assumptions, and without a one-size-fits-all approach.
I tend to thrive in crisis. Ideal with the toughest cases of trauma, shootings, cults abductions, and domestic violence. I have been able to help so many veterans as well over the past 12+ years in my positions with US Service Animals, Simple, Practice, Grow Therapy and other telehealth platforms. I was an early adopter of telehealth and I have seen it. Make such a difference for so many people because of the comfort that is brought by being able to open up in an environment you know is safe, your own home/space. I take a solutions focused and a client centered approach. I am also insight oriented. I have a lot of insight when it comes to dealing with physical pain and disabilities as I have a visual disability since very young and suffered a TBI at age 24. I like to focus on what issues you are having and come up with coping mechanisms that will work for you. Dealing with the struggles I have had throughout my life has helped me work with people and develop creative and effective coping mechanisms for their specific issues. I have now lived and worked in several states with varying cultures and have benefited from all of these experiences. I have spent a lot of time in a hospital and work well with nurses and medical professionals as well. Please reach out if you think I can help and I will meet you where you are and see where we can go from here.
Hello. I have been a licensed Psychologist since 1998. Throughout the majority of that time my private practice was within a hospital, providing care for patients that experienced a significant medical issue that lead to adjustments in their overall mental health. These individuals were needing to make adjustments in their everyday life. Obviously, strategies were worked on because depression and/or anxiety might be present.
Everyone faces times in their life that is challenging. If this situation is not resolved carefully negative issues can arise. The challenge is to resolve the uncertainty before it becomes compounded and more difficult to resolve.

Hi, I’m Jacalyn Yurick, LISW-S. I’m a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, grief, substance use, and major life transitions. I specialize in working with individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or exhausted from carrying the weight of everything on their own. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning on the outside while silently struggling internally with anxiety, unresolved trauma, burnout, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion. Others come to therapy after years of feeling misunderstood, emotionally disconnected, or unable to fully move forward despite trying everything they can to “just cope.” My goal is to help clients move beyond simply surviving and begin feeling more grounded, confident, connected, and emotionally at peace. I am EMDR-trained and have extensive experience treating complex trauma and PTSD. In addition to trauma work, I frequently help clients struggling with panic attacks, chronic stress, mood disorders, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, grief and loss, and substance use concerns. I utilize evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, and strengths-based treatment tailored to each client’s individual needs. My background includes work in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential substance use treatment, outpatient mental health, school-based therapy, couples counseling, and telehealth. Working across these settings has given me experience supporting clients through both crisis situations and long-term personal growth.
Clients often describe me as down-to-earth, supportive, direct, and easy to talk to. Therapy does not require you to have everything figured out before you begin. You only need a starting point, and together we can work toward meaningful and lasting change.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works with individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, and life transitions. My name is Amber. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in the state of Ohio. My role is to empower you on this journey of self-actualization. I bring authenticity, warmth, and a solution-oriented approach. We will be working side by side to identify your goals, values, and strengths. From there, we will process past experiences to help you move on to becoming your best self. I have been helping clients achieve their goals for the past several years. These clients range from the age of one-year-old to over fifty-years-old. About 60% of my clients are 12 and under. In working with younger children, I have had the most success using telehealth when parents are present to monitor, arrange a predictable environment, and assist with any technical issues. In working with younger children, the parents’ role is vital. I work as a team with parents and caregivers to build a healthy relationship and find the appropriate strengths-based parenting strategies for the child. Recommended parenting techniques are largely based on the Conscious Discipline model which encourages mindful parenting. With younger children, the parents’ cooperation is imperative to reach desired behavioral goals. I also draw from the approaches outlined in Working with Challenging Youth by Brent Richardson, Ed.D.

Together, we’ll work at your pace to explore what matters most to you and find practical ways to help you feel more balanced, confident, and fulfilled in your day-to-day life.
Hi, I’m Meagan. I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of their next steps — especially when stress, anxiety, or major life transitions start to affect confidence, relationships, or daily functioning.
I take a practical, supportive approach to therapy, helping you understand what’s getting in your way, identify your strengths, and develop skills you can actually use in real life. My goal is to help you feel more confident, grounded, and capable of managing challenges as you move toward the life you want.
Welcome! As a board-certified psychotherapist, I am here to be a support. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I'm glad you're here. If you've been feeling stuck, anxious, or just not like yourself lately, I want you to know you don't have to navigate that alone. I am passionate about supporting adolescents and adults using an authentic, curious, and compassionate approach.
