New to Grow
I completed my practicum, internship, and the following four years of my clinical experience at a nonprofit agency specializing in domestic violence and sexual assault. This experience deeply shaped my trauma-informed approach and commitment to providing compassionate, ethical care. I work with ages 16–80 and support clients navigating concerns such as mood and personality disorders, anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, and adjustment to life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
The first session is a time for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, collaborative relationship. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, discuss your goals, and go over what you can expect from the therapeutic process, moving at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach to therapy is eclectic, with a strong foundation in humanistic and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I am trauma-informed and believe that feeling heard, understood, and respected is essential to the therapeutic process. I value careful listening, empathy, inclusiveness, ethical practice, and accountability, and I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and work toward meaningful change.
I work with teenagers and adults from age 16+ and support clients with navigating concerns such as mood and personality disorders, anger management, anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, and adjustment to life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, we'll work together to identify your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and create goals that fit your life.
I use this method because it pulls from multiple treatment modalities. I find this beneficial for personalizing therapy to client's needs.
