I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion, respect, and practical guidance. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the emotional impact of trauma. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I believe therapy should be both meaningful and useful—helping you better understand yourself while building skills you can apply in everyday life. I draw from evidence-based practices and tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs, values, and goals. Whether you are seeking clarity, healing, or tools to move forward, I partner with you to support lasting growth and emotional well-being. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to do it alone. I would be honored to work with you on your journey toward greater balance, insight, and resilience.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, what’s been challenging, and what kind of support feels most helpful to you. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—my goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and clear about next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What often stands out to clients is my calm, steady presence and my comfort working with intense or complex emotions. I take a trauma-informed approach, which means I prioritize safety, trust, and respect, and I move at a pace that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. I don’t rush the process or push clients to revisit painful experiences before they feel ready. Along with CBT informed approaches my work is also DBT-informed, focusing on helping clients build practical skills for managing emotions, reducing distress, improving relationships, and finding balance. Along with insight and emotional processing, we work on tools you can use outside of sessions to cope with anxiety, mood shifts, trauma responses, and everyday stress. Clients often share that therapy with me feels both supportive and focused—they feel understood while also gaining clarity and skills that lead to real change. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more in control of your emotional responses, and more confident navigating life with resilience and self-compassion.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to make sense of intense or painful experiences. Many of the people I support are navigating grief and loss, ongoing anxiety or depression, mood changes related to bipolar disorder, the effects of trauma or PTSD, or difficulties with emotional regulation and relationships, including borderline personality disorder. I’m especially helpful for clients who want a therapist who can stay steady and supportive when emotions feel intense or confusing. Whether you’re coping with long-standing patterns or something more recent, I offer a calm, nonjudgmental space to process what you’re going through and to build skills for managing emotions, relationships, and day-to-day life. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what you need—just a willingness to show up and be honest. If you’re looking for thoughtful, compassionate support while working through complex emotional challenges, I may be a good fit for you.
