Hi, my name is Hao.
Are you struggling with worries or negative thoughts that won’t quiet down? Do you find it difficult to stay positive and treat yourself with compassion?
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Ohio. I received my doctorate of Clinical Psychology, Psy.D., from Wright State University, School of Professional Psychology. I help clients build insight and practical skills to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based methods.
Whether you’re overwhelmed, caught in patterns of worry, or navigating difficult emotions or relationships, I’m here to help. Therapy can feel intimidating, but reaching out is a meaningful first step. You deserve a safe space to heal, grow, and reconnect with your strengths. In our work together, I’ll bring compassion, clarity, and structure as we work through the habits and hurdles holding you back. Let’s take that step together!
I believe that trauma is experienced in relationship and through relationship trauma is healed as well. It's my hope that I will always be the kind of clinician with whom my client can develop a relationship that enables them to experience a measure of healing during each encounter we have. It is also my hope that I will empower every client, through providing them with all of my knowledge and skills, in a manner that will work me out of a job. My agenda is to provide each client with skills that, when implemented, will carry them through every challenging situation that they might encounter so they can be successful in living life on purpose.
Welcome, and glad you are looking for someone to walk with you on your journey. I am an LPCC-S here in Ohio and have been working in the mental health and addiction worlds for almost a decade as a therapist, graduate professor, overdose first responder, and clinical researcher among other roles. During my travels through these and other experiences, I have been honored to develop along with my clients an expertise in an array of Narrative and Somatic practices, that when combined together we have found to often be helpful when navigating many of the ways that Pain shows up in our lives.

Hello & Welcome,
I am Dr. Watson and I am happy to see you seeking services and reclaiming your joy. I commend you for taking the first step to improving your life. As a licensed psychotherapist in IL, AZ, CO, KY, ME, CT, DE, and OH. I have 30 years of experience working with teens, adults, and seniors, I look forward to partnering with you through your transition and supporting you in getting back into your journey of life.
I specialize in working with people in transition including integrating better balance, managing life stressors, addressing health challenges, rediscovering wellness, and mid-life changes. Hello, my name is Renee Taylor a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio with a strong foundation in clinical social work and years of experience in both community and private practice settings. In addition to clinical work, I stay actively involved in community advocacy, program development, and mentorship of new social workers. I believe in the importance of holistic, culturally responsive care and dedicated to promoting social justice and equity in all areas of practice.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you may be wondering what our work together would actually look like. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, build practical skills, and work toward a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a primary approach. DBT is a skills-based, evidence-informed therapy that can help with managing intense emotions, navigating relationships, tolerating difficult situations, and responding to yourself and others with greater awareness and effectiveness.
Depending on your goals, we may focus on any or all of the following:
• Managing strong or overwhelming emotions
• Building healthier relationships and boundaries
• Increasing mindfulness and self-awareness
• Tolerating distress without making situations worse
• Strengthening self-compassion
• Building a life aligned with your values
Therapy works best when we approach it as a team. I’ll bring clinical knowledge, structure, support, and honest feedback; you bring your experiences, goals, questions, and willingness to practice new approaches. You can expect me to encourage and challenge you, when appropriate, and help you make sense of what you are experiencing. There may be times when therapy feels rough, particularly when we are looking at patterns you have used for a long time. We'll work through those moments together rather than expecting you to navigate them alone.
You will also have opportunities to practice skills between sessions. The goal isn't just talking about what is happening in your life—it's to help you develop tools you can use in your life.
The hope is over time, you leave therapy with a greater understanding of yourself, confidence in your ability to handle difficulties, and a sense that you can build a life worth living.
Hi, I'm Rachel Richard! With over 25 years of experience as a licensed counselor, I specialize in helping people manage anxiety and depression, overcome trauma, and navigate life's everyday challenges. I hold a Master's Degree in Community/Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati and I am licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. My commitment lies in providing evidence-based practices that help clients manage their emotions and reduce unhelpful thought patterns while empowering them to confidently cope with life's challenges and achieve their goals. My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused, with specialties in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. For those open to a more holistic approach, I also incorporate Somatic Therapy to connect both mind and body.
Do you feel overwhelmed and exhausted at times from the demands in your life? Are you finding it hard to have a healthy work/life balance? Do you struggle to enforce boundaries? Are you consumed by your emotions? There's no need to continue to fight these battles alone when I can help! Individual therapy can help with many of these real life situations and more.
Seeking therapy can be a big decision in life and I’m glad you are considering this commitment. I currently work full-time at the Department of Veterans Affairs and recently came back to my private practice part-time. With over 27 years of experience, I’ve helped thousands of individuals just like yourself with anxiety, depression, stress management, anger, grief, and compassion fatigue to name a few. Studies have shown evidenced based therapy such as CBT and CPT are proven to help decrease symptoms in disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, stress management, insomnia, and many more. Together, we will identify what wasn’t working for you, assess your commitment to therapy, and develop obtainable goals that will help you be your best self. I will give you tools that you can continue to use for a lifetime. And hopefully you will no longer need therapy but can rely on what you learned through therapy to help you, should you encounter a bump along this thing called "life".
You can book a session with me by contacting Grow Therapy. I am available in the evenings and on some weekends. I look forward to working with you!
Hello! I AM ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR BOTH IN PERSON (IF YOU LIVE NEAR AKRON) and virtually in OH. I have been counseling for 13 years. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Ordained Minister and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety and/or psychological trauma, I want to help you.
I have experience in many areas. I do NOT work with children under 18 at this time and I do NOT do couples counseling. Currently, I work with adults. I also run a Christian nonprofit for those without insurance. (Ask about this if you don't have insurance or have a low income.)
I'm glad that you're looking for help with whatever brought you here. I believe that therapy can be a supportive space for you and I to explore your journey. I facilitate this exploration through being attentive to you and your needs, noticing the effects of your experiences on your sense of self. We can also examine together how culture, society, and family influence our worlds, emotions, and identities.
I've been practicing in school and community based settings since 2018, and received my independent license in 2023. Through working with a wide range of ages and populations, I've came to appreciate how hurt and pain are hard to carry alone, and I'm honored to be present on that journey with you. I also offer services in both English and Mandarin/Chinese. Sliding fee appointments for those in need.
Hello! I'm Stephanie Burbridge, and I'm so glad you're here. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure of who you are outside of all the roles that you carry- you're not alone. Whether you are navigating the challenges of motherhood, adjusting to life transitions, or simply longing for a space to breathe and reconnect with yourself, I'm here to support you.
As a person-centered therapist, I believe every woman holds the capacity to make active changes in their life that bring long lasting growth. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy and authenticity - creating a space where you can be seen, heard, and valued.
Hello, I am Mande.
I have 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I love working with individuals helping them to meet their best version of themselves and their life.
Do you ever feel alone, as if no one understands how challenging life can be? Does it feel like everyone else has it figured out? Is it confusing how they are managing life challenges?
I would love to have the opportunity to help connect and express yourself. I find it helpful to look at life outside of social media and look at the reality of life and its challenges. There are many skills that are helpful in regulating your nervous system, challenging negative beliefs and increasing self-care.
Together, we will identify your challenges and goals - where you want your life to be a month, six months, a year from now. Then, we'll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You'll leave the session with a better understanding of what you're facing with an "actions I can take right now" approach. There will always be room for suggestions concerning our work together, including keeping each other accountable.
Reaching out for support takes courage, and I’m glad you’re here. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervision designation (LISW-S), I specialize in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, and stress management.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by chronic worry, carrying a heaviness you can’t quite shake, or struggling with burnout, you don’t have to figure it out alone. In addition to my clinical work, I mentor and supervise other clinicians, which keeps me at the forefront of the most effective therapeutic tools and mental health practices.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life; my job is to offer clinical perspective and practical strategies that work in the real world. I focus on creating a comfortable, safe space where we can work together from the very first session to turn 'feeling stuck' into a clear path forward.

Hi there! I've been working and assisting clients for 18 years. That's a lot of anguish, sadness, hurt and anxiety I have helped people face and move forward into a world they want to live. I love meeting and working with people of all communities. This often includes clients focusing on mood disorders, self-esteem and anxiety. I also love working with people who are LGBTQGIA2S+. I have a casual and humorous approach, but don't let that fool you. I take my work with my clients very seriously and work hard to help them move out of pain, suffering and difficulty. The hope is that they are then able to realize, accept and take initiative to define and live out the life to which they aspire.
I am dedicated to helping people realize their personal and relational potential. My expertise is in intrapersonal growth, relationship therapy, and LGBTQ issues. I specialize in issues surrounding anxiety, depression and interpersonal relationships. I assist people in understanding their unhelpful thinking patterns, navigating healthy relationship dynamics, and difficulties in communication.
My work ranges from problem solving and solution-focused, to deeper dynamic work that seeks understanding of self and relationship patterns and boundaries. In my couple's work, I focus on dismantling barriers to communication and addressing the needs of the individuals in the relationship as well as the relationship itself. Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
My focus is to work with clients toward regaining balance, identifying strengths and providing interventions specific to the client’s needs. I work to provide an atmosphere that is inviting and non-biased. I am here to listen and ask reflective questions to guide you toward your best self.

Do you feel like you're running at full capacity with no room left to breathe? On the surface, you have it all together: the high-performing professional, the dependable parent, the supportive partner. Underneath, it's different. Anxiety that won't quiet. Depression creeping in. Burnout from roles that never let you clock out. Often it's all of them at once, tangled together until they blur.
I bring an engineer's mindset to therapy. My background in Mechanical Engineering shaped how I see problems, not as isolated issues but as complex systems needing recalibration. Most high-achievers I work with are tired of surface-level talk therapy; they want results. Together, we analyze what's actually breaking down, whether it's depression, anxiety, career burnout, or family dynamics. We build a concrete evidence-based plan using tools such as DBT and EMDR to process trauma and tackle performance issues. For over a decade, I've guided clients through major life transitions, for example career pivots, new parenthood, and loss, toward lives rooted in purpose and sustainable well-being.

I graduated from Miami University in 2013 with my bachelor's degree in psychology and worked as a case manager for a year, assisting adults with managing mental health symptoms. I also helped with medication management, and assisted with supporting them in daily living skills, before getting my master's degree in social work in 2016. Once I graduated with my Master's, I then worked at a community based correctional facility for 3 years as a mental health and addiction specialist. I completed diagnostic assessments and facilitated individual and group therapy sessions for mental health and addiction. From there, I began working at an inpatient behavioral health hospital and assisted patients there with acute mental health needs and helped to provide referrals for outpatient treatment. Since 2020, I have been working with clients doing individual therapy and have been growing my private practice. I find it rewarding to be able to work with clients long-term and get to know them as a person while meeting each individual where they are; what their struggles are, what their successes are, see progress they make in different areas of their lives, and develop a rapport that is respectful and supportive. I have been able to gain a great deal of experience over my 13 years with a very diverse background through promotion and advancement, in the mental health field, and those experiences help me to navigate my therapeutic approach to assist with being able to better serve clients while we are working together.
I am an autistic therapist, which is important to mention as my communication style may differ from what you are accustomed to. I am very direct and honest, and my guidance is grounded in research and the lived experiences of other clients. My therapeutic approach is centered on helping you define your current purpose. I employ a client-centered approach, cognitive behavioral techniques, and existentialism to ensure you feel heard, seen, and valued. Together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I am pleased that you are here, and I look forward to working with you.
I began my education in research psychology before entering counseling. Now, I am a Community Counselor. I have spent my time as a therapist side by side with people in their homes, in their schools, at their workplace, and out in the community. I have worked with people on the Autism Spectrum, with ADHD, depression, mood disorders, and end of life issues.
My approach to helping has always been to help you define your current purpose. I utilize a client-centered approach, cognitive behavioralism, and existentialism. I want you to feel heard, seen, and feel that you are important. We will work together to help you on a journey to discover yourself.
I am glad you are here and I look forward to working with you.
