Having been through a lot in my teenage years into adulthood, where I learned self-confidence, I have found that if I had someone to help me work through issues of stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and many other life factors I would have been successful sooner. I have experience in diverse cultures where I have found I learn just as much from the people around me as they learn from me. Having an open mind and listening to my clients helps me to relate and understand them and develop a treatment plan or plan of action with them that makes them feel comfortable. I have an extensive history helping individuals understand their career path, educational needs, and learning life skills. I have a passion for mental health because of the family history with depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, and substance abuse, and it drives me to want to help others. I believe it is important to empower individuals, couples, and families towards a sense of normalcy and autonomy, and developing skills to meet the goals they have for their lives. Taking a holistic approach to counseling I take into consideration the whole person and stive to build a good working relationship with each client to better understand them, helping them feel at ease at a time that may feel stressful and awkward, and helping them navigate life's challenges. In my free time I like to go to the beach, take a walk in nature, and enjoy spending time with my children and 2 dogs. I also enjoy learning, reading, and going to amusement parks when time allows.

Life can be heavy and hard to cope sometimes. Anxiety, depression, trauma, and painful life experiences can make it hard to feel safe, connected, or understood. Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps, but it can also be the beginning of meaningful change. If you are carrying more than you feel able to manage right now, you don't have to face it by yourself. Many people come to therapy feeling exhausted from trying to hold everything together. I provide a safe and welcoming space where you can show up exactly as you are. Your story, your culture, your identity, your struggles, and your strengths are all welcome here. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported as we work through the challenges you are facing. Together we will move at your pace, focusing on helping you feel safer, and more confident in yourself.

These times are urgent. Let us slow down.” ― Bayo Akomolafe Let's take things one breath at a time, slowing down instead of rushing through the hard parts. I don’t believe in fixing or solving everything all at once in the hopes it does not reoccur. Instead, I offer space for curiosity, vulnerability, and connection, because that’s often where healing begins. Together we’ll practice being with your experiences, not just getting past them. I work with people facing all kinds of mental health and personal life challenges, and I especially love helping clients untangle old patterns and build new ones that feel more like them. My approach is relational and HUMOROUS, humanistic, honest, warm, and collaborative. I work mostly with teens and adults. Outside of therapy, I’m usually testing a new hairstyle, thrifting, listening to Afrobeats, or walking my dachshund, Winston-Bishop.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and in case you’re unsure of what that is, it means I have earned a Bachelor Degree in Social Work a Master of Social Work and once I completed Graduate school I was then required to complete 3,000 hours of clinical work experience under supervision for another two years after those supervised clinical hours I had to successfully sit for ASWB Clinial Level exam. Being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker not only means that I am passionate about Mental Health, but I am also focused on your environment, meaning I look at external factors that impact your situation. When I started Graduate School, I went in with the notion of studying Psychology until I came across the Social Work Program, after doing some extensive research into the profession, I decided that is what I wanted to do. I learned I can help individuals with their Mental Health as well as take a holistic approach to address any barriers they may face while working towards their goals. I absolutely LOVE being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and helping individuals reach goals they’ve set for themselves.

Hello, I am Chrissy Dingledine. I was born and raised in Ohio and in the past few years I moved to North Carolina. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with my Master's in Social Work in 2012. I am currently independently licensed in Ohio and North Carolina. I have had a range of experience from providing crisis and solution focused treatment in a jail setting, providing holistic and solution focused treatment in a medical clinic, and providing care to adolescents in the school setting. Each setting has helped me grow as a provider and a person. One commonality from each experience is that we are all human and we all need support throughout our lives, and there is no shame in this. I am here to provide you with a safe space where you can speak openly and honestly. I want you to feel supported, seen and heard as you share personal details of your life. Together, we will work on finding ways to improve your well-being so you feel more confident in your lifestyle.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over five years of experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-worth challenges, and relationship or attachment concerns. My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful patterns, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build psychological flexibility, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand and heal the parts of themselves carrying pain or protection. I incorporate Psychodynamic Therapy to explore how past experiences shape present behavior, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to strengthen motivation and support meaningful, sustainable change. My cultural identity is central to my work. As a young African American woman, I have a deep understanding of generational trauma, systemic barriers, and the resilience that exists within the Black community. These experiences guide me to practice with cultural humility, empathy, and authenticity. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, validated, and empowered to explore their inner world safely. Life can feel heavy sometimes — especially when you’re the one everyone depends on. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, relationship stress, or just feeling emotionally drained, therapy can help you slow down, process what’s going on, and learn healthier ways to cope. My style is warm, supportive, honest, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, not like you’re being analyzed under a microscope. We’ll laugh when we can, be real about what’s hard, and work together to help you feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally healthy. Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, burnout, grief, emotional overwhelm, and major life stressors. I became a therapist because I genuinely care about helping people feel less alone during difficult seasons of life. I’ve always been drawn to understanding people, supporting others through challenges, and helping individuals recognize that healing and growth are possible — even when life feels overwhelming. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be honest, supported, and reminded that they do not have to carry everything by themselves. Many of my clients are people who are used to holding everything together for everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. They’re exhausted, overthinking everything, emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or feeling disconnected from who they used to be. My therapy style is warm, supportive, relatable, and direct. I’m not the therapist that just nods the entire session while you spiral alone. I believe therapy should be a safe space where you feel genuinely comfortable being honest — without fear of judgment — while also learning practical tools that help in real life.

Hey, I'm Erin, and I love being a mental health counselor. I started my career as a preschool teacher, determined to save the world one child at a time. My father, the original Cooley, was a social worker who inspired my love of working with and helping people. Wanting to make a greater impact on the success of children and families, I pursued a Masters in Counseling. This began my journey into the world of mental health and it has truly been a journey of purpose for me. I tell my clients that I am a "geek" for counseling and I am always absorbing new information about the mental health field. I have been working as a trauma-informed therapist for many years. I am trained/certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and, more recently, EMDR. I take into account the whole person, understanding that many factors make up health. I am creative in utilizing many modalities to help you achieve your goals with your mental health and overall well-being. I deeply believe in the natural desire for each person to reach wholeness and believe you are the expert of yourself. I desire to guide, support and challenge you to reach your fullest, actualized self.

Life has a way of nudging us to grow, pause, and ask deeper questions—especially when things feel hard or uncertain. No matter your age or stage, those moments are part of being human. My approach to counseling is eclectic and collaborative, grounded in creating a space where you can show up as you are and feel genuinely supported. Together, we’ll sort through what’s going on, build tools to help you cope, and find ways to move forward that feel meaningful and realistic for you. I work with people navigating burnout, midlife transitions, imposter syndrome, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I bring both clinical insight and a real, human presence to the work (and yes, sometimes that includes a little well-placed profanity). I’m especially passionate about understanding how our early family experiences shape the way we live, love, and work. I truly believe that when the right space is created, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself in powerful, lasting ways.
