My name is Dr. Desiree Walls, and I am a perinatal mental health certified provider through Postpartum Support International, a certified hypnotherapist, and I am currently pursuing certification in Brainspotting. I am also a parenting coach, financial wellness coach, and have received specialized training in Christian sex therapy.

First session
The first session involves the assessment process where I get to learn about you and can develop a treatment plan to best serve your needs.
Strengths
As a mother who also had a rough journey during my pregnancy and postpartum periods, I know what that struggle is like and can walk that path alongside you.
Ideal clients
As a certified perinatal mental health clinician with extensive training and experience in working with the perinatal population, most of my client base tends to be either pregnant or postpartum. I also enjoy working with fathers, veterans, and women who are further along in their parenting journeys. I am happy to work with any client who is interested in actually doing the work.
Treatment methods
Brainspotting
I utilize brainspotting for processing any difficult-to-process emotion or experience. I am currently undergoing the certification process.
Christian Counseling
As a Christian and seminary student currently pursuing a M.Div, I use a Christian lens with all of my practice unless a client specifically requests otherwise.
Attachment-based
As a provider with an attachment background, attachment-based treatments serve as the backbone of most of my work.
Hypnotherapy
Certified Hypnotherapist with the International Certification Board of Coaches and Hypnotists
Interpersonal
I have received training in IPT specifically serving the perinatal population.
