I became a therapist because I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered. I value authentic connection and believe healing can happen when people are given a safe space to grow and rediscover their strengths. Being able to walk alongside others in their self-discovery journey is deeply meaningful to me. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients can expect their first session with me to be welcoming, supportive, and centered around creating a safe and comfortable environment to begin the therapeutic process. My goal during the initial session is to get to know you, understand your concerns, and learn more about what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. During the first session, we will discuss your current challenges, emotional experiences, personal history, relationships, stressors, strengths, and any goals you may have for therapy. I may ask questions about areas such as anxiety, mood, coping patterns, family dynamics, work or school stress, life transitions, and overall emotional well-being to gain a clearer understanding of your needs. Clients can also expect a collaborative and nonjudgmental conversation where they are encouraged to move at a pace that feels comfortable for them. There is no pressure to share everything immediately. Building trust and therapeutic rapport is an important part of the process, and I strive to ensure clients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe being fully themselves while also being challenged toward growth and healing. I strive to balance empathy with practical skill-building so clients not only feel heard and validated, but also leave sessions with tools they can apply in their daily lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adolescents, adults, and couples who are seeking support while navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, relationship concerns, and personal growth. I work well with clients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related symptoms, ADHD-related challenges, grief, self-esteem concerns, burnout, adjustment difficulties, and interpersonal or communication issues. I also enjoy working with clients who want to strengthen their relationships, improve communication patterns, process past experiences, develop healthier boundaries, and build confidence in themselves and their decision-making. In couples counseling, I support partners who want to enhance emotional connection, increase understanding, and develop healthier conflict-resolution skills.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, adjustment challenges, ADHD-related concerns, stress management difficulties, and relationship issues. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthier coping strategies and more balanced thinking patterns. My approach to CBT is collaborative, supportive, and person-centered. I

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

My approach to ACT focuses on helping clients accept emotions and experiences without becoming overwhelmed or controlled by them. Rather than trying to eliminate distressing thoughts, I help clients learn how to observe their thoughts with greater compassion and detachment while remaining connected to their personal values and long-term goals. I frequently incorporate ACT interventions such as mindfulness exercises, grounding techniques, cognitive defusion, values exploration, self-compassion work, acceptance strategies, and committed action planning. I encourage clients to identify what matters most to them and take meaningful steps toward living in alignment with their values, even during difficult seasons of life.

Christian Counseling

I have experience incorporating Christian counseling and faith-based principles into therapy for clients who desire spiritual integration as part of their healing journey. My approach is client-centered, respectful, and tailored to each individual’s beliefs, values, and level of spiritual involvement.

Couples Counseling

When appropriate and desired by the client, in my practice, I integrate faith-based counseling with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy. I help clients explore how their faith, spirituality, values, and relationship with God may influence their emotional well-being, decision-making, coping skills, relationships, and personal growth.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have experience utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, depression, trauma-related symptoms, relationship difficulties, stress, ADHD-related challenges, and difficulty managing intense emotions. In my practice, I use DBT to help clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional awareness, and develop healthier ways to respond to distress and interpersonal challenges.
