My goal is to foster a trusting, collaborative space where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and struggles. I believe in empowering clients to build coping skills, strengthen self‑esteem, and cultivate the self‑awareness needed for meaningful change. You are the expert on your own life. I’m here to help you uncover your strengths, rewrite the stories that no longer serve you, and help you build resilience to navigate challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our initial session, the focus is on building a foundation of trust and creating a plan for therapy. We'll engage in open dialogue to explore your goals, concerns, and what led you to seek therapy. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space, where you feel heard and empowered. Together, we'll begin forging a therapeutic alliance and laying the groundwork for a collaborative journey towards your well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have worked with individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences to collaboratively identify ways to cope with stressors, build resilience and meet goals. I foster an accepting and authentic connection to create a therapeutic space where clients can explore, heal, and grow.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in serving individuals experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, and those feeling stuck or seeking personal growth. Whether you're facing challenges or striving for personal development, I'm here to support you in building resilience, enhancing coping skills, and achieving a greater sense of well-being and fulfillment in your life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help patients using cognitive behavioral therapy by guiding them to recognize unhelpful thought patterns and understand how those thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors. Together, we break problems into manageable pieces and practice practical skills—like reframing negative thinking, building healthier coping strategies, and experimenting with new behaviors. My goal is to empower patients to become more aware, more flexible in their thinking, and more confident in their ability to navigate challenges in their daily lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I help patients using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy by guiding them to make space for difficult thoughts and emotions rather than getting stuck in a struggle with them. Together, we focus on clarifying what truly matters to them—their values—and taking small, meaningful steps toward living in alignment with those values. I teach skills like mindfulness, cognitive defusion, and acceptance so patients can respond to their inner experiences with more flexibility and compassion. The goal is to help them build a life that feels purposeful and authentic, even in the presence of challenges.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I help patients using Dialectical Behavior Therapy by teaching practical skills that support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthier interpersonal relationships. Together, we work on balancing acceptance and change—helping patients acknowledge their experiences while also building new ways of responding to challenges. I guide them in recognizing emotional patterns, strengthening coping strategies, and practicing skills that create more stability and resilience in daily life. The goal is to help patients feel more grounded, more effective in relationships, and more capable of navigating intense emotions without becoming overwhelmed.

Strength-Based

I help patients using a strength‑based approach by focusing on the abilities, resources, and resilience they already possess. Together, we identify what’s working well in their lives and build on those existing strengths to support growth and change. I encourage patients to recognize their own competencies, celebrate progress, and use their personal values and past successes as tools for navigating current challenges. The goal is to empower them to feel capable, confident, and actively engaged in shaping the life they want.
