I received my master's degree from VCU in 2015, became licensed in 2020, and have been practicing on my own ever since. I live by two mottos "It takes a village" and "take time for you". During that time utilized my creative abilities to teach high school photography, full time video edit, and freelance local photography and videography. Upon graduating with my masters and becoming licensed, I worked in community-based services for more than 4 years, counseling teens and at-risk youth and their families in the Charlotte area. People come to work with me on issues such as depression, anxiety, grief/loss, life transitions and relationship concerns. Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counsellor (LCMHC) currently serving both North and South Carolina. I have utilized my Masters of Counseling in practice for 8 years. I've spent over 12 years as a Protective Services Social Worker and in that time I had the privilege to serve many people in many walks of life. That experience has given me a unique talent for connecting with people. I enjoy assisting older and young adults struggling with life, relationship and career stress, and others just finding it difficult to become the best versions of themselves.

I am a Therapist who is a little bit more "seasoned" than most of the Clinician's that seem to be available in most practices, where my many life experiences have helped me work toward the main goal in my life, to be able to come along side others. Every client has their own stories which bring them to the place of seeking help and the seasoning(s) occurring in my life have helped me to be able to empathetically listen to the client's particular situation(s) and help them work toward achieving the goals and therapy outcomes they are seeking in their own lives.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Seaside Legacy Counseling, PLLC. I received an undergraduate degree in Psychology, as well as a Masters of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I have been licensed for over ten years and have experience in a variety of settings including residential treatment, clinical mental health and several schools. I have worked with both children and adult clients experiencing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship conflicts, low motivation and difficulty concentrating. I have a wealth of experience partnering with high school aged children, young adults attending college and/or professional careers as well as older adults. I welcome LGBTQIA2S+ clients, and I am a proud and active ally.
