Hello. Welcome to my virtual office. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina. I earned my Masters of Social Work from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and have been practicing for . I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults overcome negative emotions and interact normally with friends and family without irrational fears or intrusive thoughts that control behavior.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session will be spent getting to know each other, discussing your expectations for achievement and creating a plan for success.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I have worked with children, adolescents and adults individually and as family units for the past 6 years. I believe my greatest strength is recognizing the client is the expert of their own lives and that I am most valuable when I facilitate growth that reduces and/or eliminates negative emotions and/or distress resulting in increased ability to express a full range of emotions without experiencing loss of control and improved social interactions.

VirtualMy treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
While the foundation of my practice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I utilize an eclectic approach incorporating CBT, person-centered, solution-focused, trauma recovery and faith-based modalities. At the core of my work resides the assertion that relational experiences shape our beliefs about the world, others, and ourselves and impact our perspectives and behaviors. My goal is to meet clients where they are; supporting clients as a catalyst for change; and building the therapeutic alliance to increase the clients’ investment in the important work of positive change. I strongly believe that increased self-awareness and self-acceptance are essential to healing, empowerment and developing ways to relate to self and others. I work from a framework that is culturally competent, strength-based, existential, and focused on harm reduction.
