Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) based in North Carolina. I received my Masters from the University of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and have been practicing for almost 9 years. I have worked in Community Based settings, hospital settings and outpatient. I have worked with clients that range in age from children to adults including couples. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship fosters respect, growth, development and change. I will use multiple treatment modalities to meet your needs and challenge you in different areas. This will help develop effective coping skills for today's life stressors.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will get to know each other and begin building truth for out therapeutic relationship. I will complete a brief psychosocial assessment to help identify the areas you want to work on. This will also allow me to develop a treatment plan to help guide our journey. You can expect a warm, welcoming, encouraging environment.

I believe Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an effect therapeutic approach that tackling a multitude of mental and emotional issues including anxiety, depression and self-esteem. I have used CBT for my entire career across multiple age groups from children to adults.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have used Solution Focused Brief Treatment for many years and have found it to be especially effective in treating adults with creating new goals for themselves and with teens and adolescents developing life skills.
