Hi There, Perrin here, If you are reading this short bio, I want to first congratulate you on the first step towards self discovery. I was born in The Bronx, NY which has inducted me naturally into a world that did not always make sense. I am mixed with African American and Native American heritage so this has allowed me to be both culturally sensitive as well as unbiased towards the human experience. I have a great appreciation for humanity which has led me to this field and assisting individuals in recognizing their innate abilities to push through tough challenges is my most treasured goal. My practice embodies the three core processes I have concluded to be effective during my 13 years of experience. These processes are; explore, grow, and maintain and through these processes, individuals will understand and explore where they have come from, growing through their experiences, and using the skills along the way in maintaining effective change.

My path to becoming a therapist stems from my own mental health journey and a desire to work in a helping profession. Recognizing that many providers may not share my background, I’ve developed an intellectual curiosity about the intersections of identity and access to care. Representation matters, and I strive to make mental health care more inclusive, especially for those marginalized by socio-economic factors. I'm passionate about helping those often ignored or underserved, knowing my skills can turn breakdowns into breakthroughs. I also give back to my community, notably through volunteering with W.O.K.E. (Women of Kolour Empowered).

I have spent my career supporting children and families and truly believe that those core relationships are essential to a happy, healthy life. We all have challenges that arise from those relationships, some of which have contributed to intense feelings which make it difficult to live the life we want. I am determined to help people to navigate through those challenges and develop the skills to grow into the person they want to be.
I am a licensed mental health therapist with many years of experience providing therapy to individuals, adolescents, groups, and occasionally couples in various settings. My experience has led me to connect with many individuals at different phases in their lives who wanted to change something but didn't know how.
I have worked with various populations from so many backgrounds, and all that stuck out to me was the disfranchised. A person losing their sense of autonomy and self always left me with that question, "Can I do more?" In my journey as a provider, I want to uplift my clients and remind them they have always had a voice and power that is waiting.
Hi, I’m Amber :) I’m a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Professional Counselor/Licensed Mental Health Counselor. My journey has taken me through healthcare, mental health, education, and human services, and along the way I’ve come to deeply appreciate how interconnected our systems are. I also recognize that these systems are not always built with every individual in mind, and that factors like race, socioeconomic status, gender, and other identities can deeply impact a person’s access to care and overall well-being.
I’m also neurodivergent, chronically ill, and received my diagnoses later in life, and I have lived experience with mental health and health challenges, both personally and within my family. Those experiences shape how I show up in my work: with authenticity, empathy, and a genuinely nonjudgmental presence. I understand that healing isn’t linear and that every person is worthy of authentic, person-centered care.
I truly believe that the privilege of a lifetime is being who you are. I’m passionate about creating a space where you feel safe enough to reconnect with your most authentic self and supported enough to grow into the life you want to live.
During my 8 years of experience, I have been providing psychotherapy to both adolescents and adults across a range of clinical settings. My professional background includes working in the community as a family therapist on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, where I treated individuals with serious mental illnesses, as well as serving as a crisis counselor at multiple crisis centers. I also have experience working as a Substance Abuse Prevention and Intervention Specialist in New York City public schools and as a therapist in a substance abuse treatment clinic.
My clinical work primarily focuses on helping clients manage and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, recognize and regulate anger and develop healthier emotional and behavioral coping strategies. I support clients in identifying triggers, increasing self awareness and building skills to manage intense emotions in adaptive ways.
I also work extensively with individuals experiencing major life transitions, helping them navigate the stressors associated with change, including uncertainty, instability and shifts in identity or roles. Through a collaborative and strengths based approach, I assist clients in building resilience, increasing emotional well being and fostering personal growth during challenging periods.
Across all settings, I emphasize the development of healthy coping skills, emotional regulation and self efficacy. My approach is grounded in empathy, cultural responsiveness and evidence based practices, with the goal of empowering clients to create meaningful and sustainable change in their lives.
I spent much of my professional career working with alcoholics, addicts and family members, in outpatient and residential programs. In addition, I was employed by an agency that provided home-based social work services to elderly clients who did not have the means to attend in person sessions. I maintain a strong foundation in the philosophies of various twelve-step programs and practice CBT principles. I believe clients should be supported in determining the path of their recovery in therapy with an experienced "leader."

Broadly speaking, my therapeutic aproach of counseling falls into a behavioral model through which I usually work to address the problems identified. I pride myself for being a thoughtful therapist who manages to get those to talk and explore a different perspective on the identified issues. Quite simply, and through various and applicable therapeutic modalities, I recall past details and tie them together with new facts to help clients better understand themselves.

Hi I am Angela, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been a therapist for over 20 years and have worked with many people who have had to walk through many of life’s challenges or are just in need of extra support. Life can be challenging at times with personal issues such as job loss, family conflict, anxiety about current life situations, and maybe even just needing/wanting someone to talk to and process things with. We all have friends, but a neutral person could be beneficial too. I have experience personally and professionally with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, emotion regulation, and dealing with vocational stress, trauma, and just overall looking for ways to manage life in general. I would love to be able to work with you in being able to learn new coping strategies (or refreshing old ones and ones you didn’t know you had).
I am a psychotherapist who values depth, curiosity, and authenticity in the therapeutic relationship. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the tech world, and that experience continues to inform my understanding of clients who are navigating high-pressure, fast-paced environments. I am especially drawn to working with neurodivergent clients, including those with autism and OCD tendencies, and I believe each person’s experience deserves to be understood in its own context rather than reduced to a label. My approach is somatic, psychodynamic, and EMDR-informed, with attention to both the body and personal history. I work with clients who may feel that words alone are not enough, helping them build a new relationship with anxiety, triggers, and overwhelm so that life can feel calmer, more grounded, and more fully their own.

By offering clarity, language, and insight, therapy becomes a space for understanding, steadiness, and meaningful change over time.
My style is thoughtful, direct, and collaborative. I use an insight-oriented psychodynamic approach to help you understand the roots beneath the pattern: family-of-origin dynamics, protective roles, and the stories you’ve had to live by. I also use psychoeducation to make therapy practical: clear language for what you’re experiencing, tools for boundaries, and ways to respond differently in real life.
