The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to support individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, work-related stress, or family and relationship challenges. I work well with clients who are motivated to make positive changes in their lives, open to exploring their thoughts and feelings, and interested in practical strategies for coping and growth. Whether your goal is to reduce stress, improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, or develop new coping skills, I provide a collaborative and supportive environment. Together, we work as a team to identify challenges, create actionable strategies, and build the tools you need to thrive.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with clients presenting a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and stress management. I’ve completed formal training in CBT principles, including cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, exposure work, and skills training. Over time, I’ve developed a flexible, collaborative approach that integrates CBT techniques with other evidence-based modalities when appropriate, such as mindfulness or acceptance-based strategies In practice, I begin by helping clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through structured assessment and case formulation, we work together to recognize unhelpful cognitive patterns and test them through behavioral experiments or thought records. I emphasize psychoeducation early on so clients understand how CBT works and can begin applying skills between sessions
Strength-Based
have consistently used a strengths-based perspective in my clinical work to empower clients and promote resilience In practice, I incorporate the strengths-based approach from the very first interaction. During assessment, I ask open-ended questions to identify what’s going well, what resources the client already uses, and times they’ve successfully overcome challenges. This helps build rapport and instills a sense of hope and self-efficacy.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
My training and practice have focused on using mindfulness to help clients increase present-moment awareness, improve emotional regulation, and develop a more compassionate, nonjudgmental stance toward their experiences. I’ve applied mindfulness strategies with clients In practice, I often introduce mindfulness early in treatment as both a skill and a perspective. I help clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations, encouraging them to observe their internal experiences without immediately reacting or Judging
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I have experience using Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) with individuals, families, and groups to help clients identify and build on their existing strengths and resources In practice, I integrate solution-focused principles from the start of therapy. During assessment, I emphasize what is already working in the client’s life and explore times when the problem is less severe or more manageable. This helps clients identify personal resources, coping strategies, and exceptions to their difficulties
