I named my practice after the word "capaz" which means capable and inspires my practice’s mission to build on the fact that we are all capable of deepening mind and body experiences for catharsis, balance, and progress among the varying parts of ourselves. I help folx understand their patterns and find ways to modify or strengthen them for a more embodied life.

Destony is a Harlem native and a licensed clinical social worker. She received her graduate degree in Social Welfare from the University at Albany, State University of New York. As a clinician, Destony has worked with diverse populations including children, adolescents, and adults living with emotional and mental challenges. She has also worked with teens and young adults in school settings as well as homes for adults living with severe mental illnesses.

Hi there, my name’s Ephraim Tokar. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a 40 year old native of central/upstate NY- right outside of Rochester. I am a mom to a 3.5 year old daughter which is where my time and energy is spent outside of being a Therapist. I mostly enjoy traveling, watching documentaries, cooking/baking, and learning about German culture. I find myself very easy-going, down to earth and have a huge passion for helping others!
