New to Grow
I am a licensed mental health counselor dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges with resilience, and self-compassion. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. With over seven years of experience in the mental health field, I have supported people from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences, guiding them toward deeper understanding and meaningful long-term change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first counseling session, the focus is on getting to know you and addressing your concerns that brought you to therapy. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to identify treatment goals and discuss a plan moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My counseling style is eclectic, integrating elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and psychodynamic techniques. This allows me to individualize your treatment needs—whether that means developing healthy coping skills, exploring patterns and behaviors shaped by past experiences, working through trauma, or simply having a safe, nonjudgmental space to be heard.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work exclusively with adults and specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma, providing a safe space where healing and growth can occur at your own pace.
Eclectic
In an integrated therapy approach, I combine cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered, and psychodynamic techniques to create an individualized treatment plan. I first work to establish a strong therapeutic relationship using person-centered techniques to create a safe space where my clients feel safe, respected, and understood. Once rapport is established, CBT techniques are introduced to address current symptoms and presenting concerns. I work collaboratively with my client to identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, challenge cognitive distortions, and develop effective coping strategies. I incorporate psychodynamic techniques to address underlying emotional conflicts, past experiences, and past trauma. Through processing past life experiences, I help clients develop deeper self-awareness and understand the roots of their current behaviors and emotional responses.
