New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults in New York. I support adults and adolescents navigating life's transitions, emotional stress, and healing after crisis. Many of my clients may be feeling stretched thin, disconnected, or uncertain of what they are experiencing. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate therapeutic interventions to support clients in building self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful, sustainable change. Therapy with me is about supporting healing, growth, and alignment with one's values and desired life. This is your journey, and I am here to help guide and support it.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will be supportive and welcoming space to share what brings you to therapy clarify goals, and explore what you need at the moment. We will move at your pace, focusing on understanding and building a foundation for healing and growth.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I bring warmth cultural humility and clinical skill to help clients to help clients build self-awareness, regulate emotions, and shift unhelpful patterns. I integrate insight and practical tools while honoring each clients background, values, and lived experience.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with people who feel overwhelmed, navigating transitions, or recovering from difficult experiences. I especially support clients from diverse Haitian, Caribbean, and first-generation backgrounds seeking emotional balance and clarity.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I use TF-CBT to help the client make sense of how trauma has shaped their thoughts and behaviors. This approach supports clients in unhelpful beliefs, creating meaningful changes that support their healing and growth.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help clients identify what life worth living looks like for them. Through DBT, clients learn practical skills to manage intense emotions, cope with stress, and navigate relationships effectively. This approach supports clients in building intentional habits and daily practices that align with their values and long-term goals.
Psychodynamic
I use a psychodynamic approach to help clients understand how their past experiences and inner patterns shape the way they relate to themselves and others. Through increased self-awareness, clients are supported in developing a stringer sense of self and improving their emotional well-being.
