Greetings! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years of experience working with children, families, and adults. Throughout my career, I have discovered a particular passion for helping adults navigate life's challenges, including relationship concerns, career transitions, marital issues, stress management, and personal growth.
I have received specialized training and certifications in several evidence-based therapeutic modalities, allowing me to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Together, we will work to identify obstacles, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change that supports your overall well-being.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward greater clarity, balance, and fulfillment.
Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Michigan since 2015. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I help adults of all ages manage life transitions, mood disorders, concerns about substance use and being late-diagnosed neurodivergent. I support all pathways to recovery and incorporate a harm-reduction approach when appropriate. I am ND and LGBTQIA- affirming.
First and foremost, I am a wife and mother. I have real life experiences that can relate to people. I have been treating clients for 25 years. I use real life, practical coping skills to help clients in real life situations. I have worked in community based centers, schools and therapeutic individual settings. These experiences allow me to have a clear, rounded understanding of people and their life situations.
My one personal goal for you is to help you learn how to help yourself. It might sound cheesy, but I just want the best for everyone and sometimes that means stepping outside of your comfort zone and asking for help. I strive to help others learn how to help themselves so that they can learn to trust their gut.
Hello, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LMSW) based in Michigan. I received my Masters from Spring Arbor University and have been practicing for 5 years. I work with adults and children who have had trauma and are dealing with depression and anxiety. I also work with the school systems in my county to treat young children and teens who are struggling in school.
Therapy doesn’t have to be sitting on a couch while someone asks, “And how does that make you feel?” every five minutes. Life is complicated. Sometimes you’re anxious, overwhelmed, pissed off, exhausted, stuck in your head, dealing with trauma, struggling in a relationship, or just wondering how everyone else seems to have their shit together when you definitely do not. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can actually be yourself. No judgment. No pretending everything is fine. No having to make your problems sound “bad enough” to deserve help. You can show up as you are.
Welcome!

Hey there. I'm Megan. I've worked with mothers and families for my entire career, and I get it. The demands of navigating the needs of ourselves and those we care for can weigh on us. I have two children, and I have experienced pregnancy loss.
"Why do I keep choosing relationships like this?”
“Why do I feel this way?”
“Who am I underneath all of this?”
“How did I become this person?”
**“Why do I keep ending up here?”**
If these are the kinds of questions you find yourself asking, we’ll probably have a lot to talk about.
My approach to therapy is insight-oriented, relational, and deeply curious. I’m interested in more than helping you feel better in the moment. I want to help you understand why you feel the way you do, where your patterns came from, and why certain relationships, roles, fears, or beliefs keep following you.
In therapy, we’ll absolutely talk about what’s happening in your life right now: the relationship that's on fire, the resentment you feel guilty for having, the anxiety that won’t stop, the people you keep trying to please, the decisions that aren’t working for you, or the version of yourself you’re exhausted from maintaining.
But we’ll also get curious about what’s underneath it.
We might notice the role you learned to play in your family, the kinds of people you feel responsible for, what happens when someone is disappointed in you, why conflict feels so threatening, why you struggle to ask for what you need, or why a relationship can feel impossible to let go of even when you know it isn’t good for you.
I’m a compassionate therapist who is dedicated to helping you find clarity, strength, and a sense of balance in your life. I aim to create a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I believe that each person has the ability to grow and make meaningful change, and I’m here to support you through that process.
Whether you’re facing stress, emotional challenges, or a major life transition, we’ll work together to better understand what you’re experiencing and find ways to move forward. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you build confidence, resilience, and self-awareness in a way that feels realistic and lasting.
