Hi, I’m Brianna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting adolescents and adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My background in emergency department social work has allowed me to work closely with individuals and families during high-stress and crisis situations, helping them build coping strategies and navigate difficult moments. I take a compassionate, collaborative, and solution-focused approach to therapy. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported while we work together to better understand your experiences and develop practical tools for managing challenges. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, going through a difficult transition, or simply looking for support, I’m here to help you move toward a place of clarity, balance, and growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. You’ll have the opportunity to share your concerns, experiences, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background and current challenges, and we’ll begin identifying goals for therapy at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin; we’ll take things one step at a time.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to remain calm, present, and supportive during high-stress situations. My experience in emergency department social work has strengthened my skills in crisis intervention, quick rapport building, and helping individuals feel safe and understood during difficult moments. I take a compassionate, person-centered approach while also incorporating practical, solution-focused strategies to help clients build coping skills and navigate challenges effectively. I focus on helping clients understand patterns, develop insight, and create meaningful, realistic changes in their daily lives. Clients often benefit from my ability to balance empathy with structure, providing both emotional support and actionable tools to promote growth and stability.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. I work well with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, are navigating difficult or unexpected situations, or are looking to better understand their emotions and develop healthier coping strategies. I also have experience supporting individuals during high-stress or crisis situations and helping them regain a sense of stability and control. I work best with clients who are open to self-reflection, building practical skills, and working collaboratively toward meaningful change in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have experience using a person-centered approach in my work by creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I focus on building rapport through active listening, empathy, and validation, while allowing clients to guide the direction of sessions. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions while supporting them in identifying their own strengths and solutions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT-informed techniques to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking. I also support clients in building practical coping strategies and behavioral changes that improve their mood and daily functioning.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I incorporate solution-focused techniques by helping clients identify their strengths, set achievable goals, and focus on practical steps toward change. I work collaboratively with clients to build on what is already working and create realistic solutions to current challenges.

Trauma Informed Care

I approach my work from a trauma-informed perspective by recognizing the impact of trauma on a client’s emotional and behavioral responses. I prioritize safety, trust, and empowerment while being mindful of potential triggers and supporting clients in developing coping strategies and emotional regulation skills.
