(she/her)
I specialize in holistic mental health and wellness, meaning I support clients in caring for their whole selves. I work with individuals across the lifespan, including children, youth, and adults, to promote well-being, growth, and development. While I have specialized experience in maternal and women’s mental health, I also support men, children, couples, and families navigating life transitions, identity development, relationships, and everyday life challenges. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan, a Doctor of Social Work, and a Certified Lactation Counselor. I am committed to creating a supportive, inclusive space where clients of all ages can explore who they are, embrace change, and nurture their mental health at every stage of life.
In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions and learn more about who you are and what brought you to therapy. This will help us create a tailored plan to work through in follow-up sessions.
As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to connect with clients through empathy and compassion, creating a safe and culturally informed space where they feel truly understood. I integrate multiple therapeutic approaches, tailoring each session to the unique needs of my clients while focusing on their strengths to empower their personal growth. My commitment to holistic wellness and adaptability ensures that clients receive the support they need to thrive in all areas of their lives.
I am best positioned to support clients who: (1) Are navigating significant life transitions – This could include women during maternal stages or life changes, children and youth going through developmental changes, men managing life stressors, or families facing shifts in dynamics. (2) Wants to embrace their evolving identity or role – They are interested in exploring and understanding their identity as it changes and grows over time as a parent, new employee, spouse, aging adult, or student for example. (3) Is motivated to improve their mental health and wellness – They are committed to managing stress, emotions, and challenges effectively, and are open to discussing and processing problem areas. (4) Seeks personal growth—They are focused on becoming the best version of themselves mentally and emotionally and want to thrive in all areas of life. (5) Values a collaborative and supportive environment – They appreciate a safe space where they can work with a professional to identify their strengths and build on them. (6) May have a cultural or community focus – They value or seek therapy that respects and integrates their cultural background.
