Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Michigan since 2015. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I help adults of all ages manage life transitions, mood disorders, concerns about substance use and being late-diagnosed neurodivergent. I support all pathways to recovery and incorporate a harm-reduction approach when appropriate. I am ND and LGBTQIA- affirming.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will start to get to know each other. I will ask questions to get to understand you and what you dealing with and wanting to work on. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and share any information you want to share. While there is a lot of ground to cover in a first session, I strive to keep things relaxed and conversational.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am able to support a nonjudgmental, supportive space where you are able to explore what is holding you back from making the changes you desire and how to create a strategy to reach your goals

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients who are trying to make changes or adjust to changes in their life. Whether it is a change in career, a new phase of life, or a new understanding of your self and your mental health, I am here to help you find the best strategies for you to thrive.

Humanistic

A humanistic approach supports a person's autonomy and holds a belief in every person's potential. This is a holistic approach that considers all parts of a person's experience.
