Hi, I am Georgia and I am of Caribbean heritage. I initally began my career in technical problem-solving in the fields of Environmental Science and Engineering, but my deeper calling was always in helping people navigate their own challenges. While working as an engineer, I served my church community as a lay counselor and intercessor, which sparked a growing passion for more meaningful, people-centered work. That calling led me to pursue a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I haven’t looked back since. Today, I serve as both a private practice clinician and a workplace mental health consultant and trainer. This work allows me to blend my analytical skills with a deep commitment to emotional wellbeing—and I truly feel I’ve found my purpose.

My name is Flemens Casimir, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with six years of experience providing counseling services to individuals from diverse backgrounds and demographics. In addition to my work in general mental health, I also have extensive experience in substance abuse treatment, supporting clients who struggle with addiction and co-occurring disorders. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is enhancing my ability to support clients in addressing trauma that often contributes to ongoing mental health and substance use challenges. My therapeutic philosophy emphasizes meeting clients where they are in their current stage of life. I approach counseling with authenticity, empathy, and a commitment to being nonjudgmental, because I believe that when someone seeks mental health support, the last thing they should encounter is judgment. My goal is to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered and respected as they work toward healing and growth.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in depression, quick to anger, or frustrated in your relationships — you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with feel like something just isn’t working, but they can’t quite explain why. Often, these struggles come from early experiences where emotions were ignored, dismissed, or too much for the adults around us to handle. As children, we learn fast: if expressing emotions doesn’t feel safe or accepted, we push them down. Over time, that emotional disconnection can turn into anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or anger that feels hard to control. My work focuses on helping you understand where these patterns come from and how to shift them. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that feels heavy, anger that shows up too fast, or relationship challenges that keep repeating — we’ll work together to untangle the deeper story and build healthier ways of coping, connecting, and feeling. This isn’t just about managing symptoms — it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been shut down for too long.

I was inspired to become a therapist because I wanted to be the kind of safe, supportive presence for others that I needed during my own childhood. What I love most about this work is seeing the growth my clients make, but also being there through the tough times when they stumble and watching them find the strength to get back up. I have a deep commitment to building trust, honoring each person’s unique journey, and empowering them to create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Building great relationships is one of the most meaningful aspects of life. Hello future client! My name is Ruthie and I'm one of those rare native Floridians. My primary practice approach is relational, using interventions that can help you understand how the past influences your thoughts, feelings and actions within your relationships. Having a clearer picture of how you show up in relationships will improve your ability to connect with others in ways that will enhance your life. I want to support you to have the loving, fulfilling, respectful relationships you deserve. Social work is my second career, having retired after 34 years with Pinellas Couty Government. Peace. Happiness. Love. Success. We seek them. We want them. As we see them within reach, we are knocked down by the challenges and difficulties of life. We find, instead, lives that are filled with anxiety, sadness, grief, trauma, loss and failure. I know this too well. I have experienced this in my own life and in the life of my clients. It does not matter where you are in your life. I have had celebrity clients at the top of their field. I have worked with gold medal athletes. I have worked with businessmen and women, housewives, families, adolescents. I have also worked with those who have lost everything to the ravishes of substance use and with men serving life in prison. It is possible to navigate the dangerous waters of life, but you will need a guide. I am that guide. I have excellent education from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have a wealth of experience. I have over three decades of experience as a husband, father, grandfather, youth pastor, counselor and university professor. I have worked in the church, private practice (in Florida and the Bahamas), community mental health (specializing in crisis and families with at-risk-adolescents), foster care, substance abuse, juvenile justice and the prisons. I have maintained my relevance by teaching at the university level, advising a best-selling author on the psychological aspects of his book, and serving as a consultant to other mental health agencies. I have wonderful experience working with anxiety, depression, anger, parenting issues, challenging children and teenagers, grief, trauma, substance use issues, family and relationship issues, LGBT issues, and other issues and concerns. I have helped my clients find peace with themselves, with others and in their situations. I have helped my clients find happiness, even amid loss. I have helped my clients find belonging and love in healthy and supportive relationships. I have helped my clients increase their ability to succeed by changing their thinking. One of the foundations of my life and my work was written by M. Scott Peck in The Road Less Travelled. He wrote, “Life is difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths… Life is a series of problems. Do we want to moan about them or solve them? Do we want to teach our children to solve them?” Let’s start today to solve some of life’s problems and to begin to grasp peace, happiness, love and success.

I have been practicing therapy for over twenty years. Some of my primary areas of expertise are family and relationship conflict, intimacy related issues and difficulty with various life changes and transitions. I specialize in assisting those who may be going through a rough patch in life or have experienced the death of a loved one. It is important to have a strong therapeutic relationship with your therapist and to feel that they are a good match for you. I want you to feel that therapy is a safe and non-judgmental place to share your thoughts, and feelings. I am a License Mental Health Counselor in New York and Florida that works with marital counseling clients and those experiencing relationship issues and who are struggling with their sense of self confidence. My ideal client is someone who is committed to the process of self-introspection and wants to be held accountable to reach their goals. I specialize in counseling women and men on self-esteem, worth & actualization. I also support clients affected by bullying, narcissistic abuse as well as those dealing with complicated grief. As your therapist, I will assist you in discovering or uncovering yourself. This might mean realizing some difficult truths about your personality and behavior patterns, tapping into your strengths, and identifying what coping skills work for you. Or, it might mean working through emotional pain, trauma, or barriers that prevent you from being your best self. In my years of experience, I have found that once a person’s authentic identity has been discovered through therapy, clients can accept who they are, confidently speak up for themselves and understand themselves with greater perspective. Usually this leads to healthier relationship choices and dynamics. I will help you to learn more about yourself and make realistic changes.

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or emotionally exhausted from constantly caring for others while neglecting their own needs. If you’re caring for an aging parent, spouse, or another loved one over the age of 18, you don’t have to carry that stress alone. My name is Clint, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Florida and Alabama. I specialize in supporting caregivers of older adults and individuals with disabilities over the age of 18 who may be struggling with burnout, anxiety, guilt, stress, or feeling emotionally drained. As a former primary caregiver for my father, I understand firsthand the emotional and practical challenges caregiving can bring. Balancing medical appointments, family responsibilities, work demands, and the emotional weight of supporting a loved one can leave little time to care for yourself. Since 2011, I’ve worked alongside caregivers and families to help reduce burnout, build healthier boundaries, improve coping skills, and create more balance in daily life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on practical tools you can use outside of sessions. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, strength's based and supportive therapy to help clients manage stress, navigate difficult emotions, and reconnect with their own well-being. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. The first session is simply an opportunity for us to talk about what’s been weighing on you and explore whether working together feels like a good fit — with no pressure or expectations. If you’re ready for support, I’d be honored to work alongside you.

Hello, I'm Amber, a dedicated and compassionate trauma-informed therapist committed to providing a safe and empathetic space for individuals on their healing journey. With a background in psychology and extensive training, I bring a holistic approach that integrates psychodynamic, person-centered, mind-body approach and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to support clients in their path to recovery. Incorporating a mind-body approach in therapy involves recognizing and addressing the interconnectedness of mental and physical health. This approach may include techniques such as mindfulness, deep breathing, or progressive muscle relaxation to help clients become more aware of how their thoughts and emotions influence their physical sensations. By integrating practices that focus on bodily awareness and self-regulation, therapists can help clients manage stress, reduce anxiety, and improve overall well-being. My psychodynamic orientation allows me to help clients delve into the unconscious aspects of their psyche, understanding how past experiences shape current thoughts and behaviors. Through this exploration, we work together to identify patterns, gain insight into unresolved conflicts, and promote long-term personal growth. In addition to the psychodynamic approach, I integrate person-centered therapy principles, emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I believe in the inherent goodness and resilience of individuals and strive to create a space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to navigate their unique healing process. Furthermore, my practice incorporates elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), focusing on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors. This approach allows us to develop practical strategies for coping with the impact of trauma, fostering resilience and promoting positive change. With a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about the latest advancements in trauma treatment, I am dedicated to providing evidence-based and client-centered care. I am here to support you on your journey towards healing, personal empowerment, and a more fulfilling life.

Sometimes life blows up in a way you never saw coming. A relationship ends. Someone lies to you. Trust gets shattered. You lose someone you love. Anxiety starts taking over your brain. Or you wake up one day and realize the life you thought you were building is not the life you actually have. A lot of the people I work with are functioning just fine on the outside while internally thinking, What the hell just happened to my life? They're replaying conversations, second-guessing themselves, trying to make sense of someone else's behavior, wondering whether they missed something, and feeling completely exhausted by their own thoughts. You don't need to show up with a diagnosis or a beautifully organized explanation of what's wrong. You can bring the messy version. I'm not a therapist who is going to sit silently for 50 minutes, nod occasionally, and then ask how that made you feel. I am engaged. I ask questions. I notice patterns. I will tell you what I'm seeing. I will validate what deserves validation, and I will also challenge you when I think you are getting stuck, avoiding something important, or being much harder on yourself than the situation actually calls for. There is room here for grief, anger, confusion, ugly truths, dark humor, bad decisions, overthinking, faith, and the occasional sentence that starts with, "I know this sounds crazy, but..." I work especially well with adults dealing with anxiety, grief, heartbreak, betrayal, complicated relationships, and major life changes. What happened matters. But I do not want the worst thing that happened to you to become the organizing principle for the rest of your life.

I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 12 years of experience supporting young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, creating a space where clients can express themselves comfortably and authentically. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and a strong foundation in compassion and self-compassion. I help clients understand their patterns, build practical coping skills, and learn to navigate both the challenges they can change and the ones they cannot. My goal is to help you feel more in control, more confident, and better equipped to move forward.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Florida, Oregon, Kansas (LSCSW), New Hampshire, and Texas. I received my Master's degree from Louisiana State University and have been practicing for 9 years. I help adults find ways to heal their anxiety and depression, help them become more self-aware, and to stop negative thinking, so they can become the best versions of themselves. I help adults ages 18+ struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, suicidal ideations, self-harm, grief/loss, and life transitions. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities such as CBT, CPT, DBT, ACT, Interpersonal, Narrative, Supportive, Compassionate, Grief, and various others depending on your needs. I help clients stay in the present moment (utilizing other techniques) as this can be very difficult to do in our busy lives today. I became a social worker because I want to help people feel better about themselves and their lives. I no longer wanted to be "just an employee" and work for a large organization. I wanted to use my strengths and abilities to help others because it would be challenging and rewarding. Therapy is a form of "self-care", and we will work together as a team to address your specific challenges, goals, and needs. I am dedicated, passionate, and caring. I also conduct emotional support animal evaluations in Florida, Texas, New Hampshire, Kansas, and Oregon. If you would like more information about me or getting an emotional support animal evaluation completed, please visit my website at instillinghopepsychotherapy.com.

My approach is rooted in a client-centered philosophy, with the ultimate goal of creating a safe, supportive space where individuals can grow into the best version of themselves. As a first-generation American, I understand the complexities of navigating between two cultures. Growing up, I often felt caught in between—never quite “American enough” for my peers, yet too American for my parents. That in-between space shaped my identity and deepened my empathy for others who feel like they don’t fully belong. As a woman, I bring lived experience to many of the challenges women face daily—from sexual assault and body image struggles to infertility and pregnancy loss. These experiences inform my work and allow me to hold space with compassion and understanding. And as a mother, I deeply relate to the pressures and expectations placed on working moms today. I’m acutely aware of how motherhood can affect every aspect of our lives—our bodies, minds, spirits, careers, and relationships—and I strive to support clients through those transformations with empathy and care.

I will like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a licensed mental health therapist. I want to tell you a little about myself and my fieldwork experiences. I worked in this field for several years, along with various training, to assist clients in different areas. In the last several years, I worked in a mental health hospital with adolescents, substance abuse, and crisis intervention in various settings. People with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia were some of the people I helped at work. I worked with individuals on career choices to increase their career paths to maximize success. I support individuals in their desire to become independent, and I do this by helping them identify their true potential.
