Feel more like yourself again. Your calendar is packed. You’re juggling a to-do list, full of responsibilities and expectations. You wear multiple hats—as a professional, mother, daughter, partner, and caretaker. You’re trying to balance your career, household, caregiving duties, and the quiet changes of midlife that no one warned you about. All of this is becoming too heavy. And now, you’re starting to feel it—emotionally and physically. YOU'RE THE ONE OTHERS RELY ON—at work, at home, and in every role you hold. But lately, you’re anxious, stretched thin, & just not quite like yourself. You're wanting to reconnect with the version of you that isn’t running on empty. I’m Gail Gerbig, LMHC and Owner of Seaside Mental Wellness. With 27 years of professional experience, I help high-achieving women navigate anxiety, emotional burnout, & mid-life transitions … with practical tools for everyday life. WHETHER YOU LIVE IN A VIBRANT CITY like St. Pete or Tampa, a quiet little BEACH TOWN like Anna Maria or Siesta Key, OR SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN like Bradenton or Sarasota, emotional support for women in Florida is just a click away. Together, we’ll create space for you to navigate life’s challenges, grow, heal, and embrace the beauty in the everyday — even when it’s hard to see. This is a space dedicated to YOU—and I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

YOUR FIRST SESSION is a chance to pause, breathe, and reflect —without any pressure or expectations. WE'LL SPEND TIME CONNECTING ON what brought you here, what you’re hoping to change or explore, and what challenges you’ve been carrying. Together, we’ll talk through your goals, explore a few supportive strategies, and begin mapping out what healing might look like for you. BY THE END OF THE SESSION, you’ll walk away with: - A clearer sense of how we’ll work together moving forward - A safe, supportive space to begin processing what’s been weighing on you - A few, small steps to help you move forward with clarity and confidence No need to prepare anything in advance—just come as you are. We’ll take it one step at a time - together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Whether you’re navigating everyday stress or moving through a major life change, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, insight, and real-life tools. THERAPY AT SEASIDE is a space to slow down, to reflect, and to reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been overlooked or buried under responsibility. THE SEASIDE APPROACH is designed to help you build coping skills, reduce your stress, and feel more like yourself again. We’ll focus on your thought patterns, your values, and identifying tools (like CBT, solution-focused, mind-body, and mindfulness) that support your emotional balance. We’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and what’s needed to move toward healing, clarity, and emotional wellness. My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps you identify thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. At Seaside, I’ll use components of CBT to help you manage anxiety more effectively, reduce negative self-talk, and build more clarity and confidence to cope with stress in everyday life.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Therapy helps to create awareness, reduce stress, and build emotional resilience. At Seaside, we’ll focus on techniques like breathwork, meditation, and body awareness to help you stay present and manage emotions with clarity. This approach enhances self-awareness, emotional balance, and overall well-being by giving you practical tools to navigate everyday life feeling more grounded, more empowered, and more like yourself again.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Therapy is a powerful tool to help you discover your strengths and create lasting change. At Seaside, we’ll create a clear, actionable plan with small steps you can complete in your everyday life to build momentum toward positive, sustainable change.

Strength-Based

Strength-Based Therapy focuses on what’s right with you—not just what’s wrong. In our sessions, we’ll identify and build on your natural strengths, resilience, and inner wisdom. This empowering approach helps shift the focus from problems to possibilities, allowing you to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Integrative

Integrative Therapy blends components from multiple approaches to create a personalized plan that fits your needs, values, and goals. At Seaside, I’ll present components from therapeutic approaches like CBT, Mindfulness, Mind-Body, and Solution-Focused work to support your emotional wellness. This flexible and personalized approach allows us to meet you where you are—and to create a path that feels aligned, sustainable, and meaningful.
