As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, it is my mission to cultivate a safe, caring, and non-judgmental environment where healing can take place. For over 10 years, I have provided compassionate psychotherapy to adolescents, adults and senior adults enduring a myriad of social and emotional life stressors. I utilize evidence-based treatment and strategies proven to provide effective outcomes, customizing my approach to meet the needs of each unique individual and circumstance.
In our first session together, my goal is to ensure that there are comfort and understanding for our relationship to develop. My approach is collaborative, purposeful, and carefully customized to the unique needs of my clients. I believe that it is through the trust and guidance of the therapeutic relationship that clients discover self-awareness and self-compassion. My mission and commitment are that clients will feel confident in knowing they have a trusted advocate that understands them, their experiences and is committed to delivering effective outcomes/results.
Throughout my professional experience, I've developed an excellent ability to meet individuals where they are in life. Uniquely, sessions are focused on my client's needs to ensure satisfaction is produced in every meeting.
I enjoy working with individuals that need a listening ear, are ready for change, feel overwhelmed, frustrated and are looking for answers. My clients enjoy a safe, caring, non-judgmental environment where they can find supported guidance that facilitates healing.

Today was my first session with Dawn Bell, and I already feel hopeful. She was incredibly easy to talk to—genuine, present, and nonjudgmental. I felt comfortable opening up right away, which isn’t always easy for me. Even in just one session, she offered a few thoughtful ideas and tools I can start using immediately. I left feeling heard, supported, and encouraged. I'm really looking forward to continuing this journey with her.

I appreciate how she allows you to tell your story and she listens and gives you feedback and advice on how to work on whatever issues being presented. She is genuine and I feel comfortable expressing how I feel to her. She is down to earth and a smart woman. I’m glad I found her.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidenced-based approach that I've utilized for a variety of issues/concerns that are very effective in my treatment practices. CBT strategies are impactful as many clients learn to implement the skills throughout life.
Solution-Focused Therapy is an evidence-based approach that I have utilized in my practice for clients who desire a collaborative method to identify known strengths to overcome obstacles in tough situations.
Person-Centered Therapy continues to be a preferred strategy for clients who desire a safe, trusting and non-judgmental environment that provides the space needed for growth and self-improvement.
