I believe therapy should be a place where clients feel supported, understood, and challenged to grow. My approach is collaborative, direct, and goal-oriented. I work with clients to identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, develop healthier coping skills, and build the life they want.

In counseling, I believe in meeting my clients where they are and helping them achieve the goals they set for themselves.

I strive to create an environment where clients can be honest about their experiences without fear of judgment while also remaining accountable for the choices they make. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or life transitions, I look forward to helping you move toward meaningful and lasting change.

First session

During our first session, we will complete a comprehensive assessment to gain a better understanding of your background, current concerns, strengths, and goals. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, how your symptoms are impacting your life, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. Together, we will begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs and circumstances.

Strengths

Clients often describe me as direct, personable, humorous, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy should be more than simply venting; it should help create meaningful change. While I provide empathy and support, I am also willing to ask difficult questions, challenge unhelpful patterns, and encourage accountability when needed. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop practical tools, and make progress both inside and outside of sessions.

I am best positioned to serve individuals who are truly ready to transform their life and not allow the hurdles in life, win. A client who is ready to work and be held accountable.

Treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I think it so important to identify goals and problems and then developing a plan to solve those challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Once a client is able to understand what the issues are, changing how we view those problems or had to address those problems, makes it easier to behave differently. This treatment is great for those with anxiety and depression.

Eclectic

Different people have different needs at different times. I believe it is important to incorporate different methods in order to meet your client where they are at.
