My name is Magalis but you may call me Maggie. I am a licensed clinical social worker who has experience working with survivors of domestic violence, at risk youth and young adults involved in the child welfare system who are transitioning to independent living, individuals experiencing grief and loss, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and addiction. The majority of my career has been centered in trauma therapy, as I have worked with survivors of sexual assault, childhood abuse, homelessness, cultural displacement, and domestic abuse. I also have experience working with individuals under the supervision of parole and probation, and currently work as a Mental Health Clinical Director at a correctional facility. I have been trained in Anger Management and have worked with individuals who have legal involvement and are mandated to treatment, in addition to individuals who are on a personal journey seeking growth and change.
