Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and Florida. I have 30 years experience in the helping profession and 7 years as a therapist. I believe that insight without action leads to stagnation and frustration. It is valuable to talk about problems and issues but without a plan of action, clients often become discouraged. Much of my work will involve helping you identify a next right step in addressing challenges.
Clients should expect a casual atmosphere and a conversational setting. We are just trying to get to know one another and how I can be of assistance. Together, we will work on framing the problem and possible steps forward.
I am able to combine insight, humor and empathy in order to encourage self exploration and personal growth/ change.
I tend to work best with Clients who are seeking a combination of insight and action. I am familiar with the impact of addiction, personality disorders etc. on a family/ marriage and able to help a non-using partner to either cope with or leave the relationship, based upon their own value system and resources. Clients who tend to remain with me are often able to self-reflect and have a high motivation to do something different.

Within the first thirty minutes of my first session with Jeannine, she was able to identify my situation and provide actionable recommendations / next steps on how to approach specific conflicts which (after months of experiencing the same negative cycle with my partner) helped me feel like I had a clear path forward.
