Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and Florida. I have 30 years experience in the helping profession and 7 years as a therapist. I believe that insight without action leads to stagnation and frustration. It is valuable to talk about problems and issues but without a plan of action, clients often become discouraged. Much of my work will involve helping you identify a next right step in addressing challenges.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Clients should expect a casual atmosphere and a conversational setting. We are just trying to get to know one another and how I can be of assistance.

My case load has a variety of male and female clients across age groups. In therapy I will introduce next steps to take during the time we are apart to keep the process moving forward.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I believe there are three steps to making personal change: awareness, acceptance and action. The hardest part is acceptance but it creates a good foundation for wiser choices.
Christian Counseling
I am a practicing Christian and can integrate biblical teachings in my approach if desired.
Couples Counseling
I pull from Gottman, IMAGO and others to help a couple identify and repair areas of shared experiences and pain.

If we could have chosen all the options of therapy style we would have. Jeannine left us feeling full of hope after just our "getting to know each other" session. We needed that so badly in this moment and for some reason I had felt like God had given me a sign as everything I looked up kept leading us to Jeannine. She is humorous, which we love as that is so important for and to us to keep that in our lives. We did not feel judged at all, she just made us feel as comfortable as possible.
