As a licensed therapist in Florida, I provide a warm, supportive space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, as well as other life or mental health stressors. My approach is compassionate, collaborative and personalized to each individual’s needs. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to process difficult emotions, build healthier coping skills and reconnect with a sense of balance and confidence. Whether you’re feeling stuck, struggling with stress or past experiences, or simply looking for support through a difficult season of life, my goal is to walk alongside you and help you move toward healing, growth and lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know your background, exploring the concerns and stressors bringing you to therapy, and clarifying the goals you would like to work toward throughout treatment. I also like to begin identifying helpful coping tools and strategies that can provide support as we start the therapeutic process together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe my greatest strengths as a therapist are my kindness, patience, calm presence, and ability to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported. I am passionate about encouraging and helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and empathy. My life experiences, along with personally practicing many of the coping skills and tools I encourage clients to use, have deepened my understanding of the real-life struggles people face and the challenges of creating meaningful change. My goal is to provide practical, compassionate support that helps clients feel empowered, understood and capable of growth and healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or the impact of past experiences and is open to learning and implementing new tools to create meaningful change in their daily life. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful thought patterns, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves and others. I enjoy helping clients better understand the connection between their past experiences, core beliefs, emotions, and current behaviors while creating a safe space to process these experiences without judgment. Together, we work toward increasing self-awareness, building healthier coping skills, improving self-compassion, and finding more balanced and fulfilling ways to navigate life and relationships.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT focuses on helping clients identify their personal values and recognize the thoughts or emotions that may keep them feeling stuck or disconnected from the life they want to live. By increasing awareness of these roadblocks, we can work together to develop healthier ways to “unhook” from them and move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My CBT approach focuses on helping clients identify unhelpful thoughts, better understand how those thoughts affect emotions and behaviors, and explore healthier ways to view situations. Together, we work on recognizing patterns and core beliefs that may have developed from past experiences or survival strategies that are no longer helpful. Through this process, clients can begin to challenge negative thinking, build self-awareness, and develop more balanced and empowering perspectives of themselves and their lives.

EMDR

I also incorporate Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a branch of EMDR and a powerful approach that can help reduce the emotional impact of difficult or traumatic memories. I have seen many clients experience meaningful relief by replacing distressing images and emotions connected to past experiences with ones that feel calmer, safer, and more empowering.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

My mindfulness-based approach focuses on helping clients slow down, increase self-awareness, and become more present in their daily lives. I enjoy helping clients find simple, realistic ways to practice mindfulness while also normalizing that it can feel challenging at times. Together, we explore how small moments of awareness and grounding can support emotional balance, stress management, and overall well-being.
