I predominantly work with young men struggling with social anxiety disorder. Do you struggle with social anxiety and poor self-confidence? I know that overcoming it is possible! Many come to therapy for social anxiety because of childhood trauma and how it has manifested in their adult lives. Often this manifests in feelings of poor self-confidence, poor self-worth, and poor self-confidence. At its root, the fundamental belief of those who have social anxiety is the belief, “I am not enough.” Clients get into the habit of comparing themselves to others and it makes them feel inadequate and insecure. Over time clients begin to avoid situations that elicit their anxiety, particularly social situations. This can lead to social isolation and loneliness. Clients will present with complaints of frequent panic attacks, not having a romantic partner, not having friends, not being happy in their jobs and feeling disconnected from life. They are labeled by others as shy, quiet, or introverted. This scenario described myself for much of my life which gives me lived experience to better able to assist you. I help individuals combat their social fears and begin to live a rich and fulfilling life. I do this through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques primarily but also integrate solution-focused therapy, assertiveness training, exposure therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. Whether you're a teen struggling to make friends and socialize or you are an adult unable to speak up at work meetings or unable to ask someone out on a date, I'm here for you! Seeking therapy can be frightening but I want to assure you that you will be most welcome if you take that leap of faith!

Hello and welcome! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Doctoral Candidate based in Florida. For more than 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping children, teens, and adults who are navigating life’s challenges—whether it’s anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioral struggles, or family stress.
I know reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through it alone. My counseling style is compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative—we’ll work together at your pace to find practical strategies for relief and long-term growth.
Along with my training in Mental Health Counseling, I also have advanced training in Applied Behavior Analysis, which means I can blend evidence-based techniques with a caring, individualized approach. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make positive changes.
As a native Floridian, I’m passionate about supporting individuals in my community through life’s challenges. I recognize the value of having a trusted space to talk openly—outside of one’s immediate circle. My approach is flexible and tailored to each client, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and traditional talk therapy. I’m especially focused on helping clients understand the “why” behind their thoughts and emotions, and on equipping them with practical coping strategies to foster growth and resilience.
Trained as a psychologist (Ph.D. from Cornell University). Some 20 years later I earned a second graduate degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. I am a fully licensed therapist in the State of Florida.
I have taught psychology at Princeton, Tulane, Cornell, and Harvard Medical School.
We will spend most of our time creating solutions, instead of analyzing problems. So often, therapy gets bogged down in the endless exploration of problems. Problems are the results of behaviors that didn't work for you in the past. Solutions flow from changes that will work for you starting right now. Solutions make your life better. They bring joy and peace to your life.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and families—adolescents and adults—on a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, parenting challenges, postpartum anxiety, trauma, abuse, and navigating life transitions.
Whether your concerns feel mild or overwhelming, therapy can help you gain clarity, build resilience, and develop healthier coping strategies. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to identify the sources of stress in your life and to help you move toward meaningful, lasting change.
Is something inside of you saying that it’s time for a change? Personal growth and development start with a desire and a willingness to try something new. I often tell my clients that the most important part of therapy is the relationship between them and their therapist. Sometimes it takes a few tries but don’t give up before the magic happens; the best investment you can make is in yourself.
I survived childhood cancer and have overcome many obstacles in my life which left me with a unique perspective that emphasizes post-traumatic growth. As a second-generation meditation practitioner, with a Bachelor’s degree in Contemplative psychology, a Master’s degree in social work, and an almost 20-year background as a licensed nurse, I emphasize a holistic approach and understand the importance of the mind-body connection. I bring a deep sense of presence to my work and I will hold a safe and sacred space for you to be fully seen, heard, accepted, and supported just as you are.
My philosophy is that people are the experts in their own lives and that therapy is not so much about giving advice, but more so about acting as a mirror to gently guide individuals to find what they are seeking from within. Together we will identify your dreams and goals and work through any blockages so that you can learn how to take care of yourself and thrive. I invite you to experience this state of being by beginning the journey of self-worth, healing, and exponential growth.

Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
My name is Katerin Chavez and I specialize in working with clients who have faced different traumas in their lives. I believe in working with the client and that the client can heal in a safe and caring space. I am person centered and will meet the client where they are at. I love solution focused therapy, there is no point in dwelling on what we cannot change, instead we should focus on what we can change.
Do you find yourself struggling with navigating the challenges of life with the need to escape? Addiction and avoidance are two very common mechanisms used in today’s world to deal with the crushing weight of life. Trust me, I get it. I have walked my own journey out of addiction into sobriety. It is a lifelong process that I embrace. It’s not just about breaking free from substances, but also achieving emotional sobriety. Time is a luxury many of us don’t feel that we have and we are constantly looking for the “quick fix,” but life has other plans. If you are looking beyond a “band aid solution” to living a better life today you’ve come to the right place. I’ve been there. I may be a therapist, but I’m a human first. A person just like you. Would you like to accept the invitation to enter into this journey of healing together? To go from surviving to learning how to thrive? To learn to unapologetically love yourself again, or maybe for the first time ever? You’re worth it. It’s your time to make yourself a priority.

Holding a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University, I’ve had the privilege of supporting the vibrant people of Florida.
I'm a therapist who believes healing doesn't have to be stiff, serious, or done on a strict timeline. Sometimes, it looks like rolling in on two wheels to make it "just on time," venting about your day, and finally saying outloud "I'm really just tired of holding it all together." I work with adults who are overwhelmed, anxious, or burnt out and being "fine" all the time just isn't working anymore. Whether you're navigating the mental load of motherhood, trying to find yourself again after a major life shift, or stuck in that loop of overthinking and self-doubt, I'm here to help you slow down, breathe, and feel human again.
My style is warm, laid-back, and trauma-informed meaning, we go at your pace - no pressure, no judgment. I offer a supportive space where you don't have to have it all figured out; you just bring your whole, real self to therapy (messy feelings, messy bun, and all) and I'll bring curiosity, compassion, and a few solid tools to help you feel more grounded.
The journey of healing at times requires support, sacred listening, and gentle guidance. I am here to assist you. I specialize in working with adults who are experiencing the challenging effects of grief, trauma, increased stress & anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, and Identity issues.
Michele Nicole Bradford has been supporting individuals therapeutically for 20 years. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a dual Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy and School Counseling, as well as a certification in Spiritual Counseling & Companioning. Because of her immense experience in working with individuals, children, and families, she has been able to gain and provide numerous tools to help one to be able to live a more healed, free, and authentic life.
Michele created the motto “ME In Detail” to help facilitate your own personal soul-care healing and growth movement because “YOU are worth it!” When you take your leap with the “ME In Detail" motto, you are informing yourself and the universe that YOU are ready to own your life in full detail. Michele understands that the journey of healing is a unique experience for each individual that requires time, spaciousness, and gentle support.
What makes taking your own leap of faith with Michele different is that she has and continues to do the “in detailed” self-work herself. She realizes that we must continuously care for ourselves at the soul level.

If you are looking for someone to hold your hand while you let the world beat you to death, look elsewhere. I'm not for you. If you're ready to walk into hell, I'm ready to walk right next to you.
The first step is yours. Are you coming?
Since becoming a counselor, I have worked in a variety of community counseling settings. I have worked with clients from ages 3 through 80 and with individuals, couples, and families. With that breadth of experience, very little shocks or surprises me and I have gotten a pretty good sense of where the types of counseling that play to my strengths as a counselor overlap with the types of counseling that are helpful for my clients. This sense (along with learning about lots and lots of research into what helps people find and maintain mental health) has led to the following guiding principles that shape all the counseling I do:
1) The client is always in charge. I know a lot of things but you will always be the one who decides what you want to get out of counseling, how we work towards that goal, whether or not what we’re doing seems to be working, and when we’re done.
2) Change and health happen through relationships. No matter what you come in for, there are always relational implications of change and relational factors that contribute to whatever it is that you came to counseling to change.
3) Counseling should be efficient. Counseling has significant costs in time and money. I think the benefits far outweigh the costs but if I can give you the benefits while helping you save on the costs then I want to do that.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida. I'm experienced working with individuals, groups, couples and families. When working with an individual, couple or family I assess and addresses the entire family history, the sum of its parts, and not simply the individuals that comprise it. The distress or problem that originated may not solely be within an individual but a natural reaction to a family dynamic that creates the distress. By using Family Systems Theory I'm able to help the Client have a deeper awareness of their personal conflicts, how to resolve them, and live a more fulfilling life without addictions.
I have a Bachelor’s from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. Im experienced working with Adolescents, LGBTQ+ Community, HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence, Sex and Love Addiction, and 12 Step Recovery.
