Hello and welcome!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida with almost eight years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults. I earned my Master’s degree from Barry University and have a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges—whether that’s anxiety, depression, school or work stress, or relationship difficulties.
In our work together, I focus on teaching healthy coping strategies, improving communication skills, and finding effective ways to manage emotional triggers. My goal is to empower you to feel more balanced, confident, and fulfilled in your daily life.
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and playing card games. I’m dedicated to ongoing learning, both personally and professionally, so I can continue to provide the best support possible.
I believe that every challenge offers an opportunity for growth, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you take steps toward healing and change. Above all, I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself.
Therapy should feel safe, supportive, and empowering through growth. My journey has taken me through community work, addictions treatment, psychiatric inpatient care, dialysis support, residential treatment with adolescents on the Autism spectrum, and private practice. These experiences allow me to understand people deeply—mind, body, family, and environment—and to tailor therapy in a way that honors your whole story. I bring a blend of clinical expertise, creativity, and cultural awareness into every session.

I aid a diverse population in navigating formative, stressful & traumatic life phases, events and situations. My primary focus is symptom reduction & stabilization, skills building and destigmatizing mental health care for individuals of all walks of life. Throughout my work as a holistic therapist, I've developed an integrative approach to helping you identify the source of your challenges and creating solutions that lend measurable progress.
With a passion for personal development and emotional well-being, I specialize in guiding individuals on their journey toward self-discovery and transformation. Welcome!! I’m Laura Schwades, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida.
If you are reading this, it likely means you are going through something difficult, and I want you to know that you are not alone. Whether you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in sadness, or trying to make sense of past trauma or substance use, I see your courage in looking for support. It takes strength to ask for help, and I truly honor that step.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are navigating these very challenges. I understand how heavy life can feel at times and how hard it can be to open up, especially when you are unsure if anyone will truly listen or understand. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and never judged; a space where we can talk openly and work together to help you find clarity, confidence, and healing. I will meet you where you are, and together we will build tools that help you manage emotions, understand yourself more deeply, and create meaningful change in your life.
Whether you are just starting out or have tried therapy before, this is your space, and I am here to help guide you through it. You do not have to carry it all alone. Healing takes time. But it starts with a single step, and I would be honored to be part of that journey with you. If you are ready to talk, I invite you to reach out. I am here when you are ready.
Many Black men carry responsibility, emotion, and expectation without having a space to process what they’re carrying. Over time, this can show up as stress, anger, anxiety, or feeling worn down. I provide individual therapy for Black men and for adolescents who need a space where they are understood. I also help parents and caregivers — especially those raising Black and Brown boys and families in blended or co-parenting systems — build clarity, connection, and consistent discipline. My approach is relational, culturally informed, and focused on helping you understand patterns, reduce overwhelm, and strengthen your family system.
Hello and welcome, I'm Ericka, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in supporting people whose work—and often their identity—is centered on caring for others, until somewhere along the way they've lost sight of themselves.
As both a therapist and clinical leader, I've spent years supporting the people others rely on most. I've learned that the people who seem strongest are often carrying the heaviest burdens, and too often, capable people mistake surviving for living.
Whether your goal is to leave work at work, sleep through the night, stop feeling guilty for resting, or simply feel like yourself again, we'll work together to help you reconnect with the person beneath all the responsibility.
Because the people everyone depends on deserve someone they can depend on, too.
As a therapist, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate their emotional challenges and achieve personal growth. I work with a diverse range of clients, including those facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. Through personalized therapeutic approaches, I empower clients to develop coping strategies, gain insights into their behaviors, and build resilience. The impact of our work together can lead to improved mental well-being, healthier relationships, and a greater sense of fulfillment in life.
I’m a warm, compassionate therapist who believes you don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out for support. I became a therapist because I’ve seen how anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and the pressure to meet everyone else’s expectations can impact how we see ourselves and move through life.
My own experiences, along with my professional background, have shaped the way I connect with clients. I understand that sometimes being the “strong one” can become exhausting, and that setting boundaries or putting yourself first can bring up a lot of guilt.
In therapy, I want you to feel comfortable being your whole self without judgment. I take a collaborative and down-to-earth approach, meeting you where you are and helping you develop tools and insight that feel realistic for your life. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin creating a life that feels more balanced and authentic to you.

Hi, I’m Dr. Catherine T. Revak, DSW, LCSW—but please, call me Cate. My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t a traditional one, and each chapter of my life has shaped how I show up for clients today. I served in the United States Air Force and spent many years in the financial services industry, experiences that taught me how to navigate complexity, hold difficult conversations, and remain present during times of stress and uncertainty. Later, I returned to school at the University of Pennsylvania, where I studied Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies, and completed both my master’s and doctoral degrees in social work. My clinical training focused on veterans’ mental health, grief, loss, and bereavement. My time working at the VA and in hospice care deeply influenced my approach to therapy, reinforcing the importance of compassion, attunement, and the healing power of being truly witnessed. In therapy, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. I draw from psychodynamic, narrative, and trauma-informed approaches, but at the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship itself. Whether you are navigating grief, transition, or uncertainty, I walk alongside you as you find meaning, connection, and a way forward that honors your experience.

Hi, I’m Mercedes Harrison, and I believe therapy should be more than just talking about what’s going on—it should help you understand yourself, recognize patterns, and feel more equipped to move forward.
Do you ever leave therapy feeling like you talked a lot, but still aren’t fully sure what you’re working on or how to actually move forward? Many people know they’re struggling but have a hard time putting words to their emotions, recognizing patterns, or understanding why they keep getting stuck in the same cycles.
In my work with clients, I believe therapy can feel more meaningful when you’re able to actually see, organize, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. My goal is for you to leave each session with tangible tools, practical insight, and personalized resources that you can continue using and reflecting on outside of therapy.
I want therapy to be a space where you not only feel heard, but also gain clarity, understanding, and tools that support you in creating meaningful change.

My career in mental health in 1977 working in a psychiatric hospital; and later as a outpatient therapist in a community mental health center working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I was licensed in Florida in 1986 as a Mental Health Counselor and have maintained my license since that date. Additionally I have maintained a practice and interest in Traditional Okinawan Uechi-Ryu, earning a Masters rank in that system of training. I have used martial training with children & adolescents to develop self-control and self esteem. Later when I began working with an elderly population and clients dealing with physical limitations, I taught Qigong and Mindfulness Meditation as a way to improve their health, well-being, and cope with stress. My therapeutic style centers around getting to know a client, develop trust, and talking more explicitly about issues before making any recommendations. I am a strong advocate of evidence-based treatments and teaching ‘tools’ to cope with stress and emotional difficulties. I have gained training in trauma treatment because we now know that it is prevalent in our life experiences. I value compassion, persistence, and patience in working towards change. I look forward to working with you. I also value your time and want to use it productively in assisting you to reach your therapeutic goals.

I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings and specialized training in trauma-focused care. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
Finding the right therapist can feel a lot like finding your favorite cozy sweater—it needs to feel like the right fit. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a master’s degree from the University of North Florida and ten years of clinical experience. I specialize in helping adults navigate major life transitions, manage burnout, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that feel most authentic and grounded. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, crafting, and exploring local coffee shops with my family. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your journey toward growth, balance, and meaningful change.
Hi, I’m Shari. With more than 26 years of experience as a licensed mental health counselor, I believe every person has inherent worth that exists beyond their struggles, diagnoses, or life circumstances. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to seeing people through mercy and grace, recognizing dignity beyond dysfunction, strength alongside suffering, and hope even in life's most difficult seasons. These principles shape how I understand each client's story and guide the therapeutic relationship we build together.
I recognize that many of the ways people cope with anxiety, trauma, grief, or life's challenges began as creative ways to survive difficult circumstances. Rather than defining people by their symptoms or past experiences, I seek to understand their unique story, honor the resilience that has carried them this far, and help them build healthier patterns that support lasting healing and growth.
I also believe spirituality is a source of meaning, hope, and resilience that is distinct from religious beliefs or practices. Whether you identify as religious, spiritual, both, or neither, I respect your values and will thoughtfully incorporate them into therapy only if they are important to you.
My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and evidence-based. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, caregiver stress, chronic illness, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you gain insight, build practical coping skills, and reconnect with your strengths so you can move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
