I have been a mental health counselor for 9+ years working with individuals on an array of mental health issues including but not limited to trauma, depression, anxiety, addictions, parenting problems, anger management, self-worth, life changes. My therapeutic style combines person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical-behavioral approaches. I also utilize EMDR when working with trauma, anxiety, and phobias.
Our first visit will start with a brief introduction, then we will complete the initial assessment to identify your strengths and areas to improve. We will start exploring coping strategies based on the specifics of your situation. We will also identify and discuss goals for us to work through in our follow-up sessions.

I am DBT trained. I utilize this treatment modality for emotional self-regulation, to improve mindfulness, and to help deal with uncertainty.
