I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong focus on helping both men and women navigate the everyday challenges of anxiety, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with individuals facing substance use, depression, and high-stress roles—including veterans and first responders. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build on their strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we begin building a trusting relationship. I’ll ask questions to get a sense of your current concerns, history, and goals for therapy. We’ll explore what’s been working, what’s not, and what you’d like to change or better understand. Most importantly, the first session is about you feeling heard, supported, and starting to feel a sense of hope that things can improve.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I’m skilled at helping clients make sense of overwhelming emotions and experiences, particularly around anxiety and trauma, and I bring a calm, grounded presence to the work. I help to build resilience and restore balance in their lives.
I’m best positioned to serve adults—both men and women—who are navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, or stress related to life transitions, work demands, or past experiences. I specialize in working with individuals who may feel overwhelmed but are motivated to find balance, develop healthier coping skills, and move forward with greater clarity. I’m also well-suited to support veterans, first responders, and those recovering from substance use. My style is collaborative, supportive, and focused on practical strategies that create real change.
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my clinical practice, particularly with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment-related concerns. CBT is one of my primary treatment modalities because of its strong evidence base and practical, goal-oriented structure.
I have solid experience utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), particularly with clients who struggle with emotional dysregulation, borderline personality disorder, and trauma-related issues. I value DBT for its structured approach that balances acceptance and change, and I often integrate its core components into both individual and group therapy settings
