Hi there - I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I completed my Master of Social Work degree at the University of South Florida. I also have a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Southeastern University. I have worked in the mental health field for 15 years. I have provided counsel to assist people from diverse backgrounds, assisting many clients with anxiety/depression, provided trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, family therapy, parenting skills, and other counseling services for people facing life’s many problems.
In our first session, we will begin to get to know each other and I will be happy to listen to your concerns and assist you to identify your goals for therapy.
Life experience and counseling experience with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds has given me a well-rounded understanding of the struggles people face and how to assist them in identifying where they are mentally, emotionally and relationally and compare that to where they want to be in their lives.
I have counseled children, teenagers, families, groups and older adults. I have assisted any and all ages who have experienced everyday life problems and also those who have survived trauma. The beginning of my career was case management serving persons with severe mental illness. Then I transitioned to family counseling that included relationship and parenting strategies for improving the family system.

Over the course of my career, I have encountered many individuals and families who have been faced with crises of various kinds. My goal is to provide support and help people to face the crisis and make a plan to overcome difficulties.
Grief Therapy
The most common struggle for all people living is grief. Grieving can happen related to any loss in a person’s life. I hope to help others to face grief and reach a place in their hearts and minds that is peaceful.
