Hi, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. I received my masters in Rehabilitation and Mental Health from the University of South Florida. I work with my clients on their mental health struggles (trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, addiction, and coping skills to name a few) to enable them to manage their mental health so it is not interfering with their daily functioning and they can be the best version of themselves.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor experienced working with children and adults to manage issues that are creating distress. I have experience in a variety of settings from residential treatment, community outpatient, and substance abuse via telehealth/telecounseling. I utilize a collaborative approach to provide care utilizing multiple treatment modalities based upon individual needs such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional based in Florida, currently training to become an Integrative therapist. I believe true healing goes beyond just addressing thoughts or behaviors. it’s about nurturing the whole person. That means tending to the mind, body, and spirit, and recognizing how each part plays a role. My journey into social work came from a deep belief in the power of being heard and supported through life’s most difficult moments.

I am Jessica Malvicino, a South Florida native, passionate about helping others. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who graduated in 2006 with my Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida International University, and in 2013, I received my Master’s degree, with honors, in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am honored to be a National Certified Counselor and Subject Matter Expert for the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination, a recognition bestowed by the National Board for Certified Counselors. I serve as a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors Job Analysis Task Force and the American Counseling Association Governance and Board Operations Committee. In 2023, my dedication to the field was further acknowledged with the Healthcare Champion Emerging Leader Award by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. I am also a certified Level II TEAM-CBT Therapist specializing in relationships, habits, addictions, and eating disorders. At a very young age, 3 years old, I began my artistic career dancing ballet. I danced with Miami City Ballet and graduated as a professional dancer from Ballet Concerto in 2003. By the time I became an adolescent I had participated in music videos with Gloria Estefan, danced with numerous known artists including Jon Secada, performed for the Cristina Saralegui Show and modeled the runways. Additionally, I was the Entertainment Reporter for the television show “Paparazzi TV,” aired on MegaTV, and the co-host alongside her prestigious mother, Dra. Vivian Gonzalez-Diaz, of the show “Catarsis con la Dra Vivian” for whom both currently have a podcast named “Esto es una Catarsis”. I'm a huge advocate for children and women with fertility problems. I'm also a Guardian Angel of the Holtz Children’s Hospital of Jackson Health Foundation and participate in numerous community events. I'm dedicated to my profession and passion for the industry.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in FL and licensed independent clinical social worker in Massachusetts. I graduated from Barry University in 2014 and have been working within the mental health and hospital field since. I enjoy helping others overcome the challenges life throws at them.
