I work with adults who feel stuck, burned out, or disconnected from themselves and are ready to look honestly at what's not working in their lives. Most of the people I see are juggling demanding careers, family responsibilities, or both, and have been pushing through anxiety, low mood, or chronic overwhelm for longer than they'd like to admit. The work I'm most drawn to: anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, women's issues, and the patterns that keep us stuck.

Hello and welcome to Grow Therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have worked in the mental health field since 1998. First, with my bachelors degree and later doing clinical work after earning my master's degree. I believe taking care of our mental health should be as accepted and routine as taking care of our physical health. Therapy can help us to be the best versions of ourselves. Life is a beautiful mess. Sometimes everything seems to be going our way. And other times, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed, confused, and off balance. I would like to offer guidance and support as you navigate those ups and downs.

Hello, I’m Dennis Alvarez, PsyD. I believe counseling should both encourage and thoughtfully challenge individuals to move toward their fullest potential by addressing the mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of their lives. I hold a Doctorate in Psychology and a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am a licensed psychotherapist with experience across hospital, treatment, and private-practice settings. Throughout my career, I have provided individual and group therapy as well as comprehensive psychological assessments to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, substance-use concerns, and life-transition stressors. My clinical background includes work in hospitals, substance-use treatment programs, and outpatient private practice, where I integrate evidence-based approaches within a holistic, person-centered framework. I am also the author of When Heaven Was Silent: Integrating Psychology and Theology in the Garden of Gethsemane, which explores the experience of mental suffering through both clinical and historical perspectives. My doctoral dissertation focused on trauma and psychological adaptation, further shaping my approach to helping individuals understand their internal patterns, build resilience, and restore a sense of meaning and purpose. In my work with clients, I emphasize helping people understand how and why certain thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns develop, particularly in the context of anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance-use histories. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment while also encouraging insight, personal responsibility, and growth. My goal is to help you move toward a more grounded, authentic, and meaningful life.

Originally from New Jersey, I earned my B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I moved to New York City in 1997 and completed my MSW at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. In 2000, I completed a certification in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Post Graduate Center for Mental Health. Immediately after moving to Florida later that year in 2002, I completed additional coursework at Barry University and obtained my social work licensure in Florida. I have worked with children, adolescents and young adults in several areas utilizing a diverse spectrum of training for 25 years. These include loss and bereavement, trauma, crisis, eating disorders, anxiety, depression and adjustment disorders. I started my private practice in 2003 in Miami. Using my background in several orientations and theories, along with experience gained over a long clinical social work career, I conduct comprehensive assessments that best address areas of emotional and behavioral concerns. I stay up to date on all the most effective training and information and aim to create a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment by meeting each individual where they are in their struggles and development. This process helps one discover the inherent strengths that allow change to happen ensuring best therapeutic results.

Many people struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, navigating friendships, connecting with your partner or building stronger family dynamics, but I am here to help. No matter how big or small the problem is, no one should face life challenges alone. I would be happy to be part of your journey of healing, seeking self-acceptance and optimal fulfillment to live your best life. My hope for our work together is that you complete therapy with a better understanding of self, emotions, behaviors and a unique toolbox to manage any stressors. I utilize person-in-environment approaches, where we are able to look at how the different domains of life are impacting you and vice versa. As a therapist, I am collaborative, exploratory, and realistic, which also means that I will challenge you to expand your perspective about yourself, emotions, thoughts, behaviors, relationships, family dynamics, etc. Being vulnerable is scary! In my practice, I view therapy as a collaborative process, where you are the expert of your life and experiences and I can help you to figure out where you want to go and how you want to get there. I welcome you to ask as many questions as possible to see if I am the right therapist for you. Nothing is off the table!

My passion in the mental health field is to encourage children and teens to become life-long advocates for their emotional, mental, and physical well-being. It is my hope that together, we will find useful strategies that can be built upon and continue to grow during both the ups and downs of adolescence and beyond. My clients often present with moderate to severe worries and anxiety around “typical” angst related to school, activities, and relationships. Sometimes the stress is sneaky and camouflaged to look like fatigue, irritability, and apathy. I find that many young people use coping skills that may not be the healthiest; however making the initial decision to seek out better solutions through counseling provides countless options for therapeutic approaches. In 2025, I proudly founded my own practice, Grand Wellness Group, in an effort to continue to provide the best support for clients, families, and supervision for clinical mental health providers.

Break the generational cycles that compromise your clarity and presence. I provide a framework to navigate the 'unwritten rules'—the inherited expectations and family scripts—that drive burnout. We move beyond venting into a structured roadmap, designed to optimize your mental capacity for your family, your career, and your future stewardship. This approach is for those who feels the weight of performance and expectations. We focus on Relational Integrity: the ability to be the person you want to be even when the pressure is high. We audit the 'Family Playbook'—the silent rules we grew up with that dictate how we handle conflict, pressure, and connection today. By understanding these blueprints, we don't just solve for stress; we restore the stability and quality of your home. It’s about moving from 'white-knuckling' your way through the day towards a reliable, clear-headed presence for the people who matter most. Whether you are navigating burnout, career stress or simply trying to be a more grounded parent and partner, our sessions are a straightforward collaboration. I offer a space that is objective, structured, and goal oriented. We aren't here to dwell on the past; we are here to understand it so you can move forward with purpose and clarity. This is about ensuring the environment you’re building is one of stability and reliability.

Hi! I am a dually licensed therapist in both Florida and North Carolina. I began my education later in my adult life, and believed I had arrived late to the game. But I found that life experience paired with my own belief system, allowed me the opportunity to view life's challenges through a unique lens, and because of that I am non-judgmental and empathetic towards people who are struggling with the hurts life has dealt them. I believe in using a collaborative approach in helping my clients. I use evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Therapy, as well as Christian Counseling. I am supportive, yet direct with empathy, compassion and help you address the barriers in your life that are causing you pain and distress.

I’m Jennifer Haynes, a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, and Founder and Clinical Director of Fr33 Mind LLC. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, grief, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, life transitions, and helping clients understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and increasingly focused on the connection between the mind and body. I believe therapy is not only about understanding what happened or identifying why we feel the way we do. Healing can also involve learning how stress and trauma show up in the body, strengthening emotional awareness, developing practical coping skills, building healthier relationships, and reclaiming a greater sense of choice and agency. My advanced credentials and training include CCTP, C-DBT, CAMS-II, CAGCS, Parent Training Specialist II, and additional education in neuropsychotherapy/neurotherapy, mental health and nutrition, and personality disorder treatment. I am also currently completing certification in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), anticipated in March 2027. Through Fr33 Mind, my work continues to expand beyond traditional talk therapy into intensives, groups, embodiment-focused healing, clinical supervision, and wellness experiences. Most importantly, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest, feel understood, learn, challenge yourself, and gradually build a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by experiences that are difficult to make sense of - whether that’s anxiety, past or present trauma, relationship challenges, or simply the strain of getting through each day. I work with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, whether finding it hard to cope, or functioning on the outside while struggling internally. Many of my clients have experienced difficult or painful life events and are seeking a space where they can feel understood, supported, and free from judgment. My approach is thoughtful, grounded, and tailored to each individual. I will meet you where you are, at a pace that feels manageable. Together, we will work to make sense of your experiences, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical ways to help you feel more stable, more in control, and more like yourself again. I bring both professional training and real-life perspective to my work, allowing me to connect with clients in a genuine and down-to-earth way. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes—it’s about meaningful, lasting change and having someone alongside you who understands how difficult things can feel. Reaching out for therapy is a big step, and I aim to make the process as supportive and straightforward as possible from the beginning. An initial conversation can help determine whether working together feels like the right fit, provide a sense of what the process might look like, and address any questions you may have. Hi, I’m Whitney, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (licensed in Florida and Minnesota). I specialize in working with women who are navigating life transitions and feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally off-balance. Many of the women I support aren’t in crisis—they’re adjusting to change, juggling multiple responsibilities, or noticing that the coping strategies that used to work no longer feel enough. They often come to therapy looking for clarity, validation, and practical tools to help them feel steadier and more confident in this current season of life. My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and solution-focused. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy or emotionally overwhelming to be effective. Instead, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and gain insight into what’s contributing to your stress. Together, we focus on building coping skills, strengthening emotional awareness, and finding realistic ways to reduce stress and improve day-to-day balance. I work collaboratively with my clients and tailor therapy to fit your goals, personality, and pace. Our work is often short-term and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on helping you feel better equipped to handle life’s transitions within a few months rather than engaging in long-term, intensive therapy. If you’re looking for a therapist who offers validation, gentle guidance, and practical support during a time of change, I’d be honored to support you.

Hello, my name is Nicole! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and what I do ! I am a licensed psychotherapist practicing in Florida. I love what I do and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve my community.I work with a variety of clients from ages 5-65 both in person and via telehealth; depending on client preference. I provide individual, couples and family therapy. I like to be very client centered in my approach; and combine techniques to meet you where you are, and work with you in a way that works for you. I tailor my approach specifically for you and your specific goals for our work together. What is important for you at the current moment, is where we will start :) In addition to a client centered approach, I also like to look at the entire person, and their lifestyle to take a more holistic approach to healing. I often combine ancient/traditional practices with modern psychotherapy for those clients who are open to it. Our bodies, minds and spirits are all connected - so it can be helpful to focus on all areas to create healing on all levels and help create the best quality of life possible for each unique individual.

Hi there, welcome to my practice. I invite you to journey with me in the collaborative process of becoming the best version of yourself. Together we can explore and identify your goals for therapy. We will use a holistic approach using our body, mind, and spirit in a safe and compassionate space to grow and get back to peace and balance. I use an integrative approach which draws on several therapeutic orientations. I take the entire person, community, family, socio-economic and cultural aspects that all have an influence on your life circumstances. I then work with you to identify your strengths and build confidence to take on the challenge of change. I have enjoyed 38 years of clinical practice in a variety of settings, and a wide spectrum of ages and cultures. I truly enjoy people and I am certain that I can find a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. Seeking therapy can be scary at first but you are courageous. Sometimes life blows up in a way you never saw coming. A relationship ends. Someone lies to you. Trust gets shattered. You lose someone you love. Anxiety starts taking over your brain. Or you wake up one day and realize the life you thought you were building is not the life you actually have. A lot of the people I work with are functioning just fine on the outside while internally thinking, What the hell just happened to my life? They're replaying conversations, second-guessing themselves, trying to make sense of someone else's behavior, wondering whether they missed something, and feeling completely exhausted by their own thoughts. You don't need to show up with a diagnosis or a beautifully organized explanation of what's wrong. You can bring the messy version. I'm not a therapist who is going to sit silently for 50 minutes, nod occasionally, and then ask how that made you feel. I am engaged. I ask questions. I notice patterns. I will tell you what I'm seeing. I will validate what deserves validation, and I will also challenge you when I think you are getting stuck, avoiding something important, or being much harder on yourself than the situation actually calls for. There is room here for grief, anger, confusion, ugly truths, dark humor, bad decisions, overthinking, faith, and the occasional sentence that starts with, "I know this sounds crazy, but..." I work especially well with adults dealing with anxiety, grief, heartbreak, betrayal, complicated relationships, and major life changes. What happened matters. But I do not want the worst thing that happened to you to become the organizing principle for the rest of your life.
