Hi. I'm Gloria, LMHC in the FL State.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, or major life transitions? Are relationship difficulties, parenting stress, or past experiences affecting your ability to feel balanced and confident? You are not alone. I work with adults, adolescents, and families navigating mood concerns, grief and loss, trauma-related stress, cultural adjustment, behavioral challenges, and relationship conflicts. Whether you are coping with the death of a loved one, a significant life change, or ongoing emotional strain, therapy can provide a structured and supportive space to process and stabilize.

Together, we focus on strengthening emotional regulation, improving communication, and building coping strategies that promote resilience and clarity. I offer services in English and Spanish and work collaboratively to help you move toward meaningful and sustainable growth.
Depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma can feel heavy and deeply lonely. You may be carrying more than others can see. These experiences are deeply human, and you do not have to face them alone. I’m Dr. Nwabu, a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes that healing begins when you have a safe space to slow down, be honest with yourself, and reconnect with who you are. My practice is grounded in the belief that you already carry wisdom within you, and my role is to help you access it with greater clarity, compassion, and confidence.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity, self-worth, and the emotional demands of leadership and everyday life. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and centered on the whole person. Depending on your needs, our work may include mindfulness, somatic awareness, reflection, emotional regulation, and practical strategies for creating meaningful change.
I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you can show up authentically, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My guiding philosophy is simple: You Hold the Answers, I Hold the Space™.
Thank you for taking time to learn a little about me. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional with over 28 years of counseling experience in clinical, private and educational settings. I practice Client-centered therapy. For those who are unfamiliar with Client-centered therapy it is based on the practice that the CLIENT is best able to decide what to explore and mark as a goal of treatment. I empower all my clients without compromising empathy. Whatever the reason any individual, couple, or family comes to me, I challenge their skillset to solve problems and restore resolve; not simply provide short-term solutions. The first step to achieve this is to build a rapport with essential empathy and unconditional positive regard.
I believe in relationships. Seems a little elementary but one's physical, mental, and overall wellness is dependent on relations that we have with each other. No matter how large or small one's family is, and/or social circle we were all meant to establish and grow relationships. No level of true self-reflection would escape this fact. I witnessed this to be true in all of my clients as with myself.
I currently reside Central Florida with my wife, son, and three daughters. As a family we enjoy an active lifestyle supportive of one another and the family dynamic.
I welcome the opportunity to work with you, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I’m a licensed mental health counselor and licensed marriage and family therapist based in Miami, Florida, with over 8 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s emotional challenges. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, and depression, and I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported.
My style is collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. I believe therapy should be a safe place to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface and to begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what you need, we’ll work together to help you feel more in control, more empowered, and more connected to yourself and the people you care about.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. That means we might gently challenge self-critical thinking, find new ways to manage anxiety or stress, or work on setting healthy boundaries in relationships. I also draw from systems theory in my work with couples and families, helping clients recognize how past dynamics may be influencing present struggles and how to build new, healthier ways of relating.
My clients often tell me they feel a sense of relief just being able to speak openly, without pressure to have all the answers. I believe therapy is not about fixing you because you're not broken. It’s about giving you the space and tools to care for yourself in a deeper way.
If you’re ready to begin this process, I’m here to walk alongside you.

In addition to counseling, I love spending quiet time in nature (woods, beach, mountains), visiting art museums and galleries, and getting some exercise. For me, these are quiet episodes of escape from the challenges of life. I also love live music, but not because it's quiet.

I'm Dr. Sheila Davis, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly 30 years of experience helping adults navigate life's most difficult seasons. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or life's transitions. They may be carrying the weight of everyone else, struggling with self-worth or people-pleasing, healing from trauma, divorce, or unhealthy relationships, or trying to rediscover who they are. Clients describe me as friendly, engaging, caring, and down-to-earth. I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing your story, gain practical tools for change, and build the confidence to create the life you want.
Hi, I'm Ricardo. I'm a Hispanic man who's done my own work in therapy to figure out who I am and who I want to be—which is a big part of why I do this work today.
I went into counseling field because I kept seeing people who felt unheard or misunderstood by the people around them, often carrying more than anyone realized. That's especially true for a lot of men and teenage boys I've worked with—individuals who feel like they're supposed to be strong, keep things to themselves, or handle things alone, but who rarely have a space to actually talk about what's underneath that. I grew up seeing some of those same pressures and unhealthy patterns around what it means to "be a man," and part of my work now is helping men and boys move away from those roles and into a healthier, more grounded version of who they are—as partners, providers, sons, and people.
I especially enjoy working with teenage boys who are figuring out who they are, often at an age when it's hard to talk to the adults around them about what's really going on. I try to meet them where they are—not lecturing, not judging—so they actually want to keep showing up and talking.
For parents: if your son is pulling away, shutting down, or you're just not sure how to reach him right now, that's exactly the kind of thing we can work through together.
Outside of the therapy room, I'm endlessly curious—I love traveling, learning about different cultures, sports, and music (I play a bit of guitar). I think that mix of curiosity, care, and having done some of my own work is a lot of what I bring into the room with clients.
With over 30 years of public service and a strong foundation in military and clinical care, I bring deep experience, compassion, and understanding to my work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
My journey began in the U.S. military, where I served as a medic in hospitals and clinics across the country. There, I witnessed firsthand the impact of trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges—an experience that inspired my lifelong dedication to helping others heal.
Following my service, I spent over two decades in crisis intervention, responding to and supporting individuals in crisis. These years reinforced my belief that empathy, patience, and listening can change lives.
I believe you can change the story of your life by having a "safe space" to share your feelings and process what hurts the most. Transforming the way you think about your problems and allowing yourself to change your perspective, could be liberating in your healing process to a better you. Expect a warm and non-judgmental environment to overcome life challenges.
Hi there! My name is Rose, and I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to helping people feel seen, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach is rooted in compassion and a respect for your unique story.
I believe therapy is a collaborative space where you can explore your experiences without judgment, gain clarity, and develop tools that work for your life. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to help you navigate those challenges.
My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. My approach draws from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and utilize mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care; while always tailoring our work to what feels most helpful for you.
I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals who want to build stronger self-worth, improve their relationships, and create a life that feels more meaningful and balanced. I’m happy that you’re considering working with me. If you’re ready to start your journey, I’d like to connect and see if we’re a good fit.
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported, while also being challenged to grow in meaningful ways. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I strive to create an environment where you can be yourself without fear of judgment.
Welcome! My name is Corina and I hold a license in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I went to school at Palm Beach Atlantic University for both my undergrad and masters education. Palm Beach Atlantic University is a Christian University and I feel grateful to have attended this school as it has created the person I am today. I believe that my faith has developed me into the counselor I am today and I function with that mentality in counseling. Jesus is the great counselor and I believe that we are to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
I have been working in the counseling field for 8 years and have been licensed for 4 of those years. I have worked the majority of my career in an in-patient addictions center and have expanded to outpatient and in-home therapy with a couple of different community agencies. In those agencies, I have offered services to children from the ages of 4 to adults in their 60s, as well as family therapy. I have worked with an array of issues not limited to family conflict, relationship issues, communication, drugs and alcohol, anger, stress, coping skills and many other life issues.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a modality that I primarily work with and at times borrows from other modalities when it is fit. My goal is to build a real, raw and positive relationship while being compassionate and empathetic. I will be sensitive but also direct in my efforts to help you find solutions to your current and/or past issues. I also believe that incorporating the use of coping skills, boundaries and communication will increase the quality of life as well as the quality of relationships.
I believe all interactions are the beginning of potential flourishing relationships. With that said, I think that as we grow in counselor and client relationships, this very relationship will better help you with your relationships with family, friends and co-workers.
I am excited to meet you and to work with you as you learn new ways to live your very best life! Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey.

I have served clients as individuals, families, and within group environments. Additionally, my counseling experience has included inpatient, outpatient, and crisis stabilization units within the Florida Department of Corrections. I also served as the mental health authority within medium to low-risk juvenile inpatient programs. My experience also includes working within community social service agencies and Medicaid programs. In my years of professional experience, I have found that Depressive and Anxiety Disorders are managed best using Psychotherapy. Whereas many clients may find it helpful to include Antidepressant/Antianxiety medications, it has been my experience that medications alone are less effective and are often supported by Counseling Intervention with a Professional Counselor.

Together, we will reach the other side.” These words continue to resonate deeply with me and shape my compassionate, supportive practice.

You do not have to write this chapter alone.

I fell in love with psychological studies in high school. Becoming a therapist has fulfilled my curiosity about human existence and my quest for happiness. I used therapy to overcome my own struggle with fears, shame, and self-doubt, which has affirmed my faith in the helping profession. I have learned through training and personal experiences that all human beings have the same basic quests in life and that we all deserve a chance to develop our unique potential, contribute uniquely to the tapestry of life, and be happy. I have also learned that human growth can only lead to spiritual development and discovery. My growth in understanding the common threads of humanity helps me treat my clients with respect and compassion. I have had extensive training in CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, trauma-focused, and insight-oriented therapies. My inclination is to use an integrated approach that meets clients where they are and helps propel them forward to achieve their objectives.
My warmth and my capacity for authenticity and being genuine helps to put folks at ease so that we can build rapport and connection for our work, ahead. I have expertise in working with all ages and am trained and skilled in working with people with neuro-divergent symptoms and diagnoses, along with their families. I also enjoy helping people recover from trauma, anxiety/depression and life transitions.
I also adore working with individuals who aspire to reach deeper and engage in self-improvement and self-care. Let's get together soon so that we can evaluate and assess your needs and priorities. I love working with people who want to learn in our eager to not only heal, but also experience change, meaning a changed self. This is because it changed self develops the capacity to feel safe and sound inside themselves, and become ever more clear on how to desire to grow.
