Hi and welcome to my Practice! When was the last time you actually finished a hot cup of coffee or breakfast before the chaos of the day took over? Juggling so many things can leave you feeling depleted before the day even starts. Everyone deserves a space where they can take a breath and not have to manage anything else. Starting therapy can feel scary, yet taking that first step is nothing less of courageous. So let's begin our work together by keeping it SIMPLE... ~I am here to meet you where YOU are at...no pressure-no right or wrong. ~If something IS working for you, let's practice and maintain it ~If it's not working, let's figure out what needs to change and HOW to do it. I offer virtual sessions on a HIPAA-compliant platform that is confidential and user-friendly! Now, you can skip the commute and have appointments from the privacy and comforts of your own home! For your convenience, I offer a flexible schedule and some evening appointments. Should you need a slot outside of my current openings, please reach out to me! You may also BOOK right from the GROW App. I accept most major insurance plans in the state of Florida.

First session

In our first session, we will start simply with just getting to know each other and take a look at the reasons why you are seeking therapy at this time. I may ask for some historical information as well. I ask that every new client please complete the "intake form" so that I have an idea of your history. This form provides me with a framework and initial idea of how to tailor sessions.

Strengths

My clients have described me as down to earth and easy to talk with. I am not the kind of therapist to just sit back and nod. I am an active participant and view our time together as a collaborative partnership. I value your input and opinion, because YOU are the expert on yourself and your family! I would describe myself as intelligent, understanding, warm, and strength-based. Whether you are looking for support and validation, specific tools and techniques, or just need to "vent", we can figure out together what will work best for you (and/or your family). I have much experience with mood disorders, emotional regulation, and relationship hurdles/conflict resolution. I have 22 years' experience and enjoy working with a vast array of populations, including: young adults, adolescents, parents, and couples.

Ideal clients

I enjoy working with young adults, couples, families, adolescents, and I am trained in Aging, and Dementia. Each population experiences a different set of struggles. I have extensive experience treating mood disorders, teaching emotional regulation, lessening the burden of high achiever exhaustion, reducing anxiety, improving low self esteem, and fixing relationship problems. I believe that anything is possible with the right mindset, the proper tools and supportive relationships.
