New to Grow
Hello, my name is Laura. I am honored to walk alongside people as they navigate life's challenges. I serve clients who are ready to create change- whether that means learning new coping tools, healing from past experiences, improving relationships, or finding more confidence and peace in the daily hustle and bustle of life. Together we work to uncover strengths, build resilience, and create practical steps towards the goals that matter most to you.
In our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other. I'll ask you about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and what feels most important for us to focus on. You'll also have a chance to ask me questions and share anything that helps me understand your story. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable and heard as we begin this work together.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence based. What makes my approach different is that it's both supportive and practical. I want you to feel heard and safe, but also leave sessions with tools you can actually use in daily life. My Clients often describe feeling more grounded, confident , and equipped with strategies they can use to handle life's ups and downs after our work together.
I am best positioned to serve clients who many feel weighed down by stress, anxiety, or self doubt, and those navigating life's transitions, relationship challenges, or a desire for personal growth. Many of my clients come to therapy because they feel "stuck" in patterns that no longer serve them, want to better understand their emotions, or are searching for heathier ways to cope with life's ups and downs.
I use Solution Focused Brief therapy to help you identify your strengths and create practical steps towards your goals. we focus on solutions and progress to move forward, rather than staying stuck in the past.
CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feeling, and behaviors are connected. We focus on identifying negative patterns and replacing them with more balanced and realistic thoughts and behaviors.
