Life can be stressful and overwhelming at times. We may find ourselves feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward in our relationships, family life, or career. As a licensed mental health therapist with over 20 years of experience, I am dedicated to supporting individuals, couples , and families as they navigate these challenges. I have extensive experience working with clients facing both mental health and substance use issues. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and goals.
The first session is to build rapport and to allow client to realize that I am there for them to address whatever issues that are bringing them into therapy. It's for the client to have a safe space to discuss and process their feelings at their pace. No expectations, only the wish that the client feels comfortable and wants to continue on their journey to self discovery and living the life that they deserve.
I am dedicated and passionate about my work and grateful to be in a profession that allows me to both guide and witness individuals, families, and couples on their journey toward growth and well-being. I work with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, substance use, and other emotional concerns.
My ideal client is someone who wants support in understanding themselves, improving their relationships, and developing healthier patterns. I work with children, adolescents and adults. I have extensive experience in anxiety disorders, trauma, grief, substance use and couples therapy. I meet you where you are and help you move toward the life and relationships you want to create. I respect the courage that individuals have to be willing to reach out and engage in self exploration.
CBT therapy is a very effective evidence-based approach in therapy that helps clients identify and change unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that are affecting our quality of life and how we feel on a daily basis. It is so effective for dealing with anxiety and depression.
Solution focused therapy is a goal-oriented therapeutic approach that emphasizes building solutions, as well as analyzing any problems. It goes beyond insight in order to achieve the changes that the client's want.

I was very hesitant for this appt, but ended up very comfortable with her & easy to talk to. She is empathetic, but at the same time able to come up with solutions and/or examples of ways to help situations.
