Together, we can take the time to understand and address these complexities, allowing you to find healing and a renewed sense of connection.
I’m Michelle (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Central Florida.
Central Florida has been my home for over 15 years. I attended University of Central Florida where I completed both a Bachelors and Masters of Social Work. During my Masters, I also specialized in Military Social Work and received training in Play Therapy. Since then, I have gone on to work with families and youth, strengthening relationships, overcoming trauma (particularly sexual trauma), and building their self- worth. I have 6 years of experience as a Clinical Social Worker where I have been able to utilize my bilingual skills specifically with adolescents and their families. Along with acquiring skills in expressive therapies, therapy outdoors, as well as superhero therapy to utilize fandom and creativity to help clients reach their Better Tomorrow. Currently I am an MSTI Florida Certified Sex Therapist.
I am a mother, a wife, a survivor, and like you I am flawed. Each of us is on a journey of self growth and discovery and I would love to be a part of yours.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in helping individuals manage depression, anxiety, and life’s challenges. My approach combines evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing with empathy and understanding to create a safe, supportive space for growth. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to identify goals, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. My goal is to empower you to feel more confident, resilient, and hopeful as you move toward the life you want.
I’m a warm, compassionate therapist who believes you don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out for support. I became a therapist because I’ve seen how anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and the pressure to meet everyone else’s expectations can impact how we see ourselves and move through life.
My own experiences, along with my professional background, have shaped the way I connect with clients. I understand that sometimes being the “strong one” can become exhausting, and that setting boundaries or putting yourself first can bring up a lot of guilt.
In therapy, I want you to feel comfortable being your whole self without judgment. I take a collaborative and down-to-earth approach, meeting you where you are and helping you develop tools and insight that feel realistic for your life. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin creating a life that feels more balanced and authentic to you.

Hello.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland. I am the owner of Breaking BHAD Counseling, LLC, a U.S. Army veteran, and a graduate of Webster University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I specialize in working with high-functioning adults who are ready to take responsibility for their growth. Many of my clients are professionals, leaders, veterans, and driven individuals who seem successful on the outside but feel internally misaligned, overwhelmed, or stagnant.
My work is structured, direct, and focused on moving forward. I don’t offer endless processing — I help clients gain clarity, confront patterns, and move intentionally toward the life they want.

I work with individuals of all ages, including children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families, who are facing a wide range of challenges, with a particular passion for geriatric mental health.
Embarking on therapy is a courageous and potentially life-changing decision, and I am dedicated to supporting you every step of the way. Hi,
I am Kamala, a FL and GA LMHC. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University in 2003 and my master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. I have worked as a mental health counselor for five years. However, I have been in the field of helping people for 18 years, starting as a case manager at a homeless shelter and later as a special education teacher. What can I can say? People are my niche.
Helping individuals get through life's difficulties is my purpose. The thing about it is, we may not be able to live 100% symptom-free, but we can live productive, fulfilling lives even with some discomfort. That may sound daunting, but I think it's realistic. Do you know why? Because even when we get through one thing, another thing is somewhere on the timeline waiting. I'm here to help you get through your "thing" now and prepare you for your "thing" later.
Hope to meet you soon.
I have a passion for supporting individuals by encouraging changes, healing, and empowerment. As a licensed clinical social worker, I provide compassionate counseling that is designed around what each person may be struggling with. My hope for you is to help enhance well-being, build self-awareness, restore emotional balance and foster healing and acceptance. With over 20 years experience in the field, I have seen how depression, anxiety, PTSD, among many other issues can impact our ability to thrive. I specialize in working through bad news, failures or unwanted changes that we all experience and find a way through with hope and direction. I established Fail Safe Counseling for this purpose.
