Licensed to practice in Florida and accepts 50 insurances. Specializes in Trauma and PTSD, Depression, Anger Management and 1 more.
Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) located in Florida. I earned my Master's degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and have been practicing for 8 years. My work primarily involves supporting adults, adolescents, and children in comprehending and processing their past and present traumas. I firmly believe that all mental health challenges have underlying origins, and I guide my clients in uncovering these sources, leading to a significant reduction in their symptoms.
In our first session together, we'll begin with brief introductions, followed by a deep exploration of the specific challenges you are currently struggling with. This process will serve as the foundation for me to formulate a tailored and custom plan that we can collaboratively begin working on in our subsequent sessions.
Drawing on 8 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children, I take pride in my eclectic approach. This method allows me to tailor sessions specifically for each client, resulting in established and effective playbooks that aid individuals in discovering the root causes of their challenges. My ultimate gratification stems from crafting these personalized plans, which consistently lead to measurable progress and leave clients with a renewed sense of self and an improved state of well-being.
I am deeply passionate about guiding individuals towards wellness and view counseling as my life's purpose, dedicated to assisting as many people as possible. My ideal clients are those who have faced traumatic experiences, grappled with anxiety, depression, and PTSD symptoms, which have left them feeling vulnerable, immobilized, and stuck. My dream clients are individuals who are ready and willing to embark on a collaborative journey with me to explore and address their mental health, ultimately working together towards their well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my therapeutic approach to help clients alleviate symptoms associated with a range of mental health conditions, particularly focusing on depression and anxiety disorders. CBT is widely recognized as one of the most effective treatment modalities, especially when addressing substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Through CBT, I empower clients by providing actionable strategies and assignments to aid them in further reducing their symptoms and improving their overall well-being.
EMDR
I predominantly employ EMDR therapy, specifically focusing on the tapping technique, to support individuals who have experienced past and current traumas. Remarkably, approximately 98% of my clients have expressed that this therapeutic approach has proven to be beneficial in helping them experience a significant reduction in the intensity of their traumatic memories and the associated emotions. In fact, some clients have even reported a noticeable decrease in their symptoms after just their initial session.
Eclectic
I identify as an eclectic therapist because I firmly believe that each person's mental health journey is unique and cannot be approached with a one-size-fits-all mindset. In my view, therapy should resemble a tailor-made suit, perfectly fitted to the individual client. Just as a skilled tailor doesn't create the same suit for every person weighing 150lbs, I recognize that other factors such as body composition, height, and personal preferences must be considered. Similarly, I draw from a diverse range of theoretical approaches and sets of techniques to cater to the specific needs and nuances of each client I work with.
