Hello there, my name is Mariana, and I am here to help you reach your goals. Working in the Mental health, and substance use field for the past 14 years has taught me healing does not necessarily come from one path. Based on the positive outcomes and feedback with those I have treated, I use an integrative healthcare approach, I assess the whole person including body, mind, and spirit in the context of community, considering lifestyle and habits; I work by looking at the whole person, not just symptoms. This leads us to being able to identify and to work on the challenges experienced through a lifetime.
I believe that wellbeing is a general state of "contentment" with life and the way things are. In this state of contentment, we experience a sense of balance and connection to a purpose. In my practice I explore with you the main areas of wellbeing and the blockages that have been impeding you to reach your best. I see therapy as a teamwork between you and me in where you share your own experiences and I provide my clinical expertise to implement an individualized plan that works for you.
I can provide therapy in Spanish or English. I work mainly using tele therapy in the state of Florida. I am a psychologist in Colombia, South America, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I am also certified to work with trauma, and hold a certification to diagnose and treat personality disorders. I am also a qualified supervisor for graduate students seeking to obtain their master’s degree in mental health.
If you still have other questions about therapy or want to know more about me and my professional approach, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss further

Why Work with Me?
Welcome to Your Journey of Growth and Healing
Do you ever feel overwhelmed, like you’re stuck on a treadmill, unable to move forward? Maybe you’re facing major life changes, struggling with grief, or feeling the weight of anxiety or low self-esteem. If you’re ready to find balance, peace, purpose and clarity, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I am a compassionate and dedicated professional, guided by a strong sense of humanism and a genuine vocation for helping others. I believe that a good life is not a fixed state, but an ongoing process—a direction rather than a destination.
I see therapy as a meaningful path toward self-awareness and personal growth. It offers an opportunity to better understand yourself, redefine challenges, and transform them into learning experiences. Entering therapy requires courage, commitment, and openness, and through that process, real and lasting change becomes possible.
A Committed Therapist
After digging through my wounds I have committed to a life of constant self-work. This continued transformational process, alongside a powerful therapeutic structure, allows me to be ready and able to help you with your metamorphosis.
My personal life experiences and work have taught me that the healing process can be messy and rarely linear. It can be hard to navigate through alone! As I guide you through it, you will find that your inner work starts with you.
An Educated Health Professional
I received my formal training through Lynn University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health. I have worked in the Mental Health field for the past ten years as a Mental Health Therapist, Early Childhood Wellness Therapist, and an ABA Behavioral Technician.
The Take Away
For those that decide to start their healing journey with me, I strive to meet you where you are, show up authentically, and radiate a grounded and non-judgmental safe space. Additionally, as a queer-identifying person, I create a safe space for those that identify with the LGBTQIA2S+ and Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diverse community.
Something feels off, but you can't quite name it. Maybe you're anxious, burnt out, or just going through the motions — doing everything "right" and still feeling disconnected. I work with people who are ready to slow down, get honest with themselves, and figure out who they actually are beneath all the noise.
I'm Shauna — a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Yoga Teacher with over a decade of experience in behavioral health. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with mindfulness and somatic practices, because I believe real healing happens in the body as much as the mind. Sessions are virtual, so you can do this work from wherever feels most comfortable.
I'm also drawn to the deeper questions — the ones about meaning, identity, and what you're really here to do. If you've ever felt like conventional therapy doesn't quite hold all of you, my holistic approach makes room for that — spiritually curious people feel at home here.

Hello! My name is Dan, and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I am passionate about my profession and enjoy helping my clients achieve their individual goals. It is exciting to see a client go from where they were to where they want to be in their lives! This is all achieved by tailoring my sessions to the needs of each person I work with. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life.
One of the most powerful effects I have found in therapy is providing a safe space where you are heard, understood, and accepted. We all have stress and struggle at times and there is great healing in exploring and touching those feelings. Let's work together towards your goals!
Life is complicated enough—and it doesn’t come with a manual. But therapy can be a space where we begin drafting one, together. My goal is to help you live more authentically, compassionately, and in better company with yourself, one step at a time.
My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, and existential therapy to meet you where you are. I’m a trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, client-centered therapist who takes a holistic view of healing.
I graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2021, I obtained my post-graduate license to practice social work in 2024. I have experience supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and personality disorders. Together, we’ll build a strong therapeutic alliance, identify unhelpful thought patterns and core beliefs, and work toward sustainable, meaningful change.
I believe healing is deeply personal, and no two journeys look the same. As Carl Sagan once said: "I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way."
Trained as a psychologist (Ph.D. from Cornell University). Some 20 years later I earned a second graduate degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. I am a fully licensed therapist in the State of Florida.
I have taught psychology at Princeton, Tulane, Cornell, and Harvard Medical School.
We will spend most of our time creating solutions, instead of analyzing problems. So often, therapy gets bogged down in the endless exploration of problems. Problems are the results of behaviors that didn't work for you in the past. Solutions flow from changes that will work for you starting right now. Solutions make your life better. They bring joy and peace to your life.
I'm so happy that you reached out for help. I am Taneisha Riley. Since childhood and into my professional career, I have always held one thing above all—helping people navigate difficult circumstances and situations, finding solutions that allow the average person to live with greater purpose and fulfillment. This quest to change lives led me into the counseling field. My treatment approach is holistic, attending to your mental and emotional well-being. I also offer marital and couples counseling, as well as Christian counseling. I believe it’s not enough to treat the body if the mind remains off-balance. My treatment regimen is holistic—attending to your mental, and emotional well-being. I can also be of service if you are seeking marital and/or couples counseling and Christian counseling.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and unresolved trauma. My clients are often highly sensitive, self-aware, and used to holding a lot; whether that’s in their careers, relationships, or families of origin. I tend to lead with curiosity always.. and my style is warm, present, and down-to-earth. I show up fully with you so you don’t feel like just another number in a system, but a person whose story deserves to be heard and honored.

I welcome working with people who realize they are having certain difficulties navigating life because of a struggle with feelings, behaviors and thoughts. The awareness of the struggle is the most important first step that we revisit throughout therapy until you can make peace within. You can become skilled at releasing attachments to the patterns that plague you. My specialty is helping those having difficulties with their own feelings, thoughts and behaviors, relationships as a result of trauma, being newly clean & sober, or because of a chronic physical or mental illness such as OCD or ADHD. I welcome you to not hesitate to reach out.
I have been in the mental health field since 2007. I was informed when I first started in this field that the average time for people to stay in the field is two years. I am still in the field because helping others is more than a career choice for me, it is my passion in life. Helping others is a personal goal of mine. I look forward to the opportunity. I enjoy seeing people make positive changes in their lives. I have worked with families, couples, children, adolescents and teens, from various cultures and backgrounds. Each case and each client is unique in their way and each client is important.
My particular areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage counseling and family counseling. I refer to myself as a "simple-minded therapist" which means we will explore simple ways to address the presenting concerns because many times the solutions are so simple they can be easily overlooked. I am a firm believer that holding a conversation is more productive than expounding on theoretical approaches.

I provide support and documentation for accommodations (such as extended test time, modified environments, or school/workplace supports) to help clients demonstrate their true ability, when clinically appropriate and not after a single session.
