I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) located in Florida, and I help adults navigate life’s challenges—like anxiety, depression, trauma, and big life changes. I also work with new mothers, college students, LGBTQ+ clients, and people facing serious health challenges. My approach is warm and practical: I listen, support, and give honest guidance when needed, helping you figure out what’s really holding you back and how to move forward.
In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgemental space where we'll start by getting to know one another. I'll ask questions about what brought you here, explore what you're hoping to work on, and gather some background information and history to help guide our work together. There is no pressure to share everything all at once. We will go at a pace that works for you. I'll also answer any questions you have and begin identifying your goals.
I am warm, honest, and I meet people where they're at with no pressure or judgement. While I am empathetic, I also like to be direct and challenge you when something's keeping you stuck. I welcome people from all walks of life and strive to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and respected. I am neurodivergent affirming and LGBTQ+ affirming, and I approach therapy from a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens.
I work best with people who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or just stuck and want someone real to talk to. My ideal clients are adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or big life changes—new moms, college students, or anyone trying to get through a tough season. You don’t need to have the perfect words or a clear plan. If you’re open to talking things out and want support from someone who’s easy to talk to and keeps it honest, we’ll be a great fit.

Katelyn is thorough and knows her therapy work! I came to Katelyn boiling in tears, with a crisis at hand. She listened, was solution oriented, and warm at the same time. Katelyn inspires me and motivates me to be strong, even during tough times.

Katelyn is an incredible therapist who is open-minded, compassionate, and genuinely empowering. As someone who has been seeing her for several years now, I feel confident in saying she creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel completely accepted and supported. Every session leaves me feeling stronger, more grounded, and more connected to myself. If you're looking for someone who truly listens and helps you grow, I can't recommend Katelyn enough.
