(she/her)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal issues, perinatal and postpartum mental health, and major life transitions. My style is direct yet empathetic, blending evidence based practices with a relational approach. I have obtained both a Bachelor's and Masters degree in Social Work from the University of North Florida. I have experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, clients who have been diagnosed with cancer, and college students facing mental health challenges and academic stressors.
In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgemental space where we'll start by getting to know one another. I'll ask questions about what brought you here, explore what you're hoping to work on, and gather some background information and history to help guide our work together. There is no pressure to share everything all at once. We will go at a pace that works for you. I'll also answer any questions you have and begin identifying your goals.
I have experience working with people from all walks of life. I'm warm, honest, and I meet people where they're at with no pressure or judgement. While I am empathetic, I also like to be direct and challenge you when something's keeping you stuck.
I enjoy helping individuals who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, or trauma.
