About me

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with over 13 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth, and I'm committed to creating a warm, supportive, judgment-free space where clients feel truly heard and understood. My approach is strengths-based and draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors — while building on the strengths and skills they already bring with them. I especially enjoy walking alongside clients navigating anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem struggles, life transitions, and the everyday challenges that can start to feel overwhelming.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is simply a chance to take a deep breath and tell your story without feeling rushed or judged. We'll talk about what's been weighing on you, what you hope will be different, and begin creating a plan that feels realistic for your life. Whether you've been thinking about therapy for years or this is your first time reaching out, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, hopeful, and confident that you don't have to figure everything out on your own.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who genuinely understands what you're carrying, not a place where you're judged or told how to live your life. Together, we'll make sense of the patterns keeping you stuck, learn practical ways to manage stress and overwhelming emotions, and build healthier relationships with yourself and the people around you. Every person is different, so our work will be tailored to your life, your goals, and the changes that matter most to you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients span a wide range of ages and life stages — parents navigating the early years with young children, women adjusting to life postpartum, teens and children above age 8, and adults at any stage of life. What often brings them to therapy is a shared experience: persistent worry or stress, difficulty managing ADHD, or a general sense of being weighed down by life's challenges. Many are searching for a way back to joy and goodness in their day-to-day lives, and many are navigating complex or evolving family dynamics along the way.

Faith based therapy

When desired by the client, I incorporate their faith and spiritual beliefs into therapy as a source of hope, meaning, guidance, and support.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients recognize connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and develop healthier thinking patterns and practical coping strategies.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I work with clients to identify their goals, recognize what is already working, and develop practical, achievable steps toward the changes they want to make.
