I love helping people looking to better their lives. My ideal client is someone who is interested in bettering themselves whether individually or as a couple. I specialize in codependency, adult children of alcoholic and dysfunctional families, families of addiction and interpersonal relationships. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I have years of experience working with addiction, process addictions, codependency, trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, and relationship issues. I love to work with individuals and couples. I am very well aware of how difficult it can to be to reach out for help. So often when we are in the dark it seems overwhelming to leave it. I am here to help guide you and to let you know you do not have do to it alone.
My hope is that every client who sees me gains insight into their lives. Through gaining insight and learning coping skills you will be able to make the changes to live a more fulfilled and authentic life.
I utilize an eclectic approach bringing in tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing , Internal family systems and more.
Working with people who have learned maladaptive survival skills from growing up in chaos , dysfunction , mental illness, addiction, perfectionism, among other forms of childhoods is a passion of mine. Helping people come out of those old patterns and to learn to love and be their capable authentic selves is a speciality that I love to work with.
