Starting therapy can feel empowering, confusing, or even intimidating—and it’s worth taking a moment to recognize the courage it takes to take this first step toward caring for your mental health. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where you can explore challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-care, and more. My goal is to help you strengthen communication and boundaries with yourself and others so that you can improve your quality of life and move toward the future you envision. Therapy is not just about overcoming obstacles—it’s also about personal growth. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and identify strategies to help you move toward them, whether that means change over the next month, six months, or a year. You’ll leave our sessions with practical insights and “next steps” you can put into action right away. I believe life’s purpose isn’t simply to be happy, but to find meaning—and within that meaning, joy emerges. While the journey isn’t always easy, it can be transformative. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addictions Professional, Internationally Certified Drug Counselor, and Behavior Analyst. I take a strength-based approach, helping you use your unique abilities to address challenges. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to empower you in creating lasting change. Most importantly, I bring a relaxed, compassionate, and trustworthy presence, fostering a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe and supported.

I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach. While uncomfortable feelings might be a commonality (especially in today's world), I believe we are all individuals who learn, experience, and react to situations differently. One thing I know for sure, if everything was going "great" chances are you would not be reading this bio right now. BRAVO to you for taking this monumental step and investing in yourself!!! Hi, I'm Masha Andreoni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with 14+ years of professional/educational experience and 49+ years of lived experience. A majority of my work experience has been spent working with Veterans and Active Duty Reservists focusing on post deployment issues, substance use/abuse, and military sexual trauma. Today, I work with individuals/groups/families within a multitude of populations. Most importantly, I do not believe that individuals fit snuggly into a particular mental health "box." For example, if diagnosed with PTSD... there is a good chance that anxiety, depression, insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present. If struggling with addictions...anxiety, depression insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present (you get it). My focus/goal is to understand where you are coming from, what you hope to achieve, avoid making any particular judgements/labels, and work together as we embrace this journey of solution focused change and betterment. While I can take the time to tell you how my approach is warm, motivating, understanding, open....in the end, this is for you to decide. I can however assure you that regardless of diplomas achieved, I never stop pursuing education in this ever-changing field/world. I am here to be of service. With me comes my personality, knowledge, humor (when appropriate), and respect! Truly looking forward to working with you.

Many people struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, navigating friendships, connecting with your partner or building stronger family dynamics, but I am here to help. No matter how big or small the problem is, no one should face life challenges alone. I would be happy to be part of your journey of healing, seeking self-acceptance and optimal fulfillment to live your best life. My hope for our work together is that you complete therapy with a better understanding of self, emotions, behaviors and a unique toolbox to manage any stressors. I utilize person-in-environment approaches, where we are able to look at how the different domains of life are impacting you and vice versa. As a therapist, I am collaborative, exploratory, and realistic, which also means that I will challenge you to expand your perspective about yourself, emotions, thoughts, behaviors, relationships, family dynamics, etc. Being vulnerable is scary! In my practice, I view therapy as a collaborative process, where you are the expert of your life and experiences and I can help you to figure out where you want to go and how you want to get there. Sometimes life blows up in a way you never saw coming. A relationship ends. Someone lies to you. Trust gets shattered. You lose someone you love. Anxiety starts taking over your brain. Or you wake up one day and realize the life you thought you were building is not the life you actually have. A lot of the people I work with are functioning just fine on the outside while internally thinking, What the hell just happened to my life? They're replaying conversations, second-guessing themselves, trying to make sense of someone else's behavior, wondering whether they missed something, and feeling completely exhausted by their own thoughts. You don't need to show up with a diagnosis or a beautifully organized explanation of what's wrong. You can bring the messy version. I'm not a therapist who is going to sit silently for 50 minutes, nod occasionally, and then ask how that made you feel. I am engaged. I ask questions. I notice patterns. I will tell you what I'm seeing. I will validate what deserves validation, and I will also challenge you when I think you are getting stuck, avoiding something important, or being much harder on yourself than the situation actually calls for. There is room here for grief, anger, confusion, ugly truths, dark humor, bad decisions, overthinking, faith, and the occasional sentence that starts with, "I know this sounds crazy, but..." I work especially well with adults dealing with anxiety, grief, heartbreak, betrayal, complicated relationships, and major life changes. What happened matters. But I do not want the worst thing that happened to you to become the organizing principle for the rest of your life.

Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep. I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for several decades. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread, and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I have published several articles and a book on sleep and am the director of the insomnia course for the World Sleep Academy, as well as a member of the Outreach and Public Education Committee, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues on a limited basis. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people. I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people appreciate working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected, and I am even able to do hypnotherapy via telehealth.

Hi, I'm Dr. V.—a licensed, board-certified therapist with 19 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, and couples navigate intricate emotional landscapes. I specialize in treating complex trauma, relationship struggles, maladaptive coping, life transitions, and the sense of loneliness and isolation definitive of our post-pandemic, digital reality. I hold advanced credentials in trauma-informed assessment and intervention, integrative mental healthcare, and clinical mental health and nutrition consultation. In addition to clinical practice, I work as an Adjunct Professor and Campus Supervisor across various universities, with research lines centering on early psychosocial trauma, Psychological Intimate Partner Violence (P-IPV), and instrument design. In fact, I am lead author of the text "Covert Trauma Across the Lifespan: Viewing Psychosocial Trauma Through a Clinical Lens"—scheduled for release in Fall 2026 via Springer Publishing—the first comprehensive clinical resource of its kind, including a focus on phenomena such as narcissistic abuse, coercive control, gaslighting, parentification, and parental alienation—bridging the gap between clinical practice and contemporary culture. My further contributions to the field include: serving as a volunteer for the Florida Department of Health Crisis Management Team, scripting and acting in educational clinical demonstration videos, and designing, developing, and delivering board-accredited training programs for counselors and psychiatry residents—with a focus on psychoeducation, assessment, intervention, and client-centered collateral care. When off the clock, I kick it savagely low-key. In my opinion, the most sublime luxury in life is a great night's sleep! Otherwise, you can find me fumbling around on the acoustic bass, shamelessly reciting '90s hip-hop lyrics while cruising in the slow lane, binge-watching niche documentaries, attending stand-up shows, daydreaming of summers spent snorkeling in vivid tropical reefs, or expanding my highly curated collections of tiny boxes, rocks, boots, books, cats, and tats.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida since March 2007. I have over 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy and assessing adults, families and children in multiple settings. I consider myself skilled using a variety of clinical interventions (expressive arts with cognitive-behavioral, client-centered and trauma-informed approaches) in three languages: English, Spanish and French. I am a Colombian born immigrant who came to the US to further my education and practice as a psychotherapist. During my years of experience in psychotherapy I learned to incorporate the creative side of the human brain to facilitate expression and better flow the emotional communication. I have helped many people work through coping with life changes, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma and other multiple issues... I thrive in connecting with the person and developing trust, hope and faith in the therapeutic -and creative- process. My main focus is to provide a safe space for open conversations -via TeleHealth or in office- that allow the person to find their own path towards growing and healing. It takes courage to face our psychological challenges AND to take the first steps towards change, if you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you all the way! Are you experiencing frustration, confusion or turmoil in your life? Even to the point where you see no sense of direction while trying to navigate through life? At times, this can be overwhelming for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, including other mental health disorders. Hi! My name is Stephaney and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with almost a decade of experience in treating adults and adolescents for various mental health challenges and co-occurring diagnoses. I was inspired to become a therapist by my unique experience migrating to the United States at the age of 13 and attending middle school which was very challenging for me. Culture shock became my reality and one that would eventually lead me to “Severe anxiety.” Even with a very strong family support system, I felt alone and trapped by my own inner fears and self-defeating thoughts. Constant worry and fear of being bullied by my peers became my everyday experience. Through all these obstacles, I was able to process my feelings and experiences with my faith in Jesus Christ, supportive family, and a few good friends. To this extent, I have come to recognize the benefits of a strong support system and the need for social and relational connection. As a mental health counselor, I’m privileged to be a part of that support system for many people. I work with my clients to connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, and actions, all while providing sound strategies to promote healthier thought processes. I believe that every human being deserves a chance to be heard and understood, and therapy has taught me that as human beings, we are more alike than different. So as your therapist, I’m excited to be a listening ear for you and help guide you toward your goals.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use.
