Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stressed, and confused? Are you feeling stuck, unmotivated, and not knowing what your next step should be? If this sounds like you, now is the time to make a change. The thought of coming to therapy can be daunting, but it shows great courage to reach out for help. I would love to embark on this journey with you. Not only will we unpack the layers of things that are causing stress, but help you work on your goals of becoming a better version of yourself.
In our sessions, I meet clients where they are at. I use compassion, non-judgment, and evidence-based techniques to help you overcome whatever challenges you are dealing with. It takes great courage to reach out for support and improve yourself.
My strength is to assist my clients to uncover their strengths and recognize that they have the willpower to promote change for themselves. As a therapist, I do not tell clients what to do but hold the space for them to share their stories and change their narrative while I offer the tools and guidance to do so. I support my clients with the tools to manage stress, anger, anxiety, and depression. This helps them to build and maintain healthy relationships that they can include in other aspects of their lives.
If you’re dealing with work stress, relationship issues, anxiety and depression, grief, low self-esteem, shame and guilt, low self-worth, and life transitions. I’m here to help, motivate, and encourage you!
My practice utilizes CBT approach that helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
One other treatment method that my practice uses is Motivational interviewing. This method helps people resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities and helps clients find the internal motivation they need to change their behavior.
This evidenced-based approach helps the client to structure solutions rather than focus on the problem. This method is hope-friendly, positive emotion eliciting, and future-oriented for motivating, achieving, and sustaining desired behavioral change. I will encourage those in treatment to develop a vision of the future and offer support as they determine the skills, resources, and abilities needed to achieve that vision successfully.
