Starting therapy can feel empowering, confusing, or even intimidating—and it’s worth taking a moment to recognize the courage it takes to take this first step toward caring for your mental health. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where you can explore challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-care, and more. My goal is to help you strengthen communication and boundaries with yourself and others so that you can improve your quality of life and move toward the future you envision. I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach. While uncomfortable feelings might be a commonality (especially in today's world), I believe we are all individuals who learn, experience, and react to situations differently. One thing I know for sure, if everything was going "great" chances are you would not be reading this bio right now. BRAVO to you for taking this monumental step and investing in yourself!!! Hi, I'm Masha Andreoni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with 14+ years of professional/educational experience and 49+ years of lived experience. A majority of my work experience has been spent working with Veterans and Active Duty Reservists focusing on post deployment issues, substance use/abuse, and military sexual trauma. Today, I work with individuals/groups/families within a multitude of populations. Most importantly, I do not believe that individuals fit snuggly into a particular mental health "box." For example, if diagnosed with PTSD... there is a good chance that anxiety, depression, insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present. If struggling with addictions...anxiety, depression insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present (you get it). My focus/goal is to understand where you are coming from, what you hope to achieve, avoid making any particular judgements/labels, and work together as we embrace this journey of solution focused change and betterment. While I can take the time to tell you how my approach is warm, motivating, understanding, open....in the end, this is for you to decide. I can however assure you that regardless of diplomas achieved, I never stop pursuing education in this ever-changing field/world. I am here to be of service. With me comes my personality, knowledge, humor (when appropriate), and respect! Truly looking forward to working with you.

No matter how big or small the problem is, no one should face life challenges alone. I would be happy to be part of your journey of healing, seeking self-acceptance and optimal fulfillment to live your best life. Sometimes life blows up in a way you never saw coming. A relationship ends. Someone lies to you. Trust gets shattered. You lose someone you love. Anxiety starts taking over your brain. Or you wake up one day and realize the life you thought you were building is not the life you actually have. A lot of the people I work with are functioning just fine on the outside while internally thinking, What the hell just happened to my life? They're replaying conversations, second-guessing themselves, trying to make sense of someone else's behavior, wondering whether they missed something, and feeling completely exhausted by their own thoughts. You don't need to show up with a diagnosis or a beautifully organized explanation of what's wrong. You can bring the messy version. I'm not a therapist who is going to sit silently for 50 minutes, nod occasionally, and then ask how that made you feel. I am engaged. I ask questions. I notice patterns. I will tell you what I'm seeing. I will validate what deserves validation, and I will also challenge you when I think you are getting stuck, avoiding something important, or being much harder on yourself than the situation actually calls for. There is room here for grief, anger, confusion, ugly truths, dark humor, bad decisions, overthinking, faith, and the occasional sentence that starts with, "I know this sounds crazy, but..." I work especially well with adults dealing with anxiety, grief, heartbreak, betrayal, complicated relationships, and major life changes. What happened matters. But I do not want the worst thing that happened to you to become the organizing principle for the rest of your life.

Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep. I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for several decades. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread, and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I have published several articles and a book on sleep and am the director of the insomnia course for the World Sleep Academy, as well as a member of the Outreach and Public Education Committee, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues on a limited basis. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all, people. I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people appreciate working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected, and I am even able to do hypnotherapy via telehealth.

Hi, I'm Dr. V.—a licensed, board-certified therapist with 19 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, and couples navigate intricate emotional landscapes. I specialize in treating complex trauma, relationship struggles, maladaptive coping, life transitions, and the sense of loneliness and isolation definitive of our post-pandemic, digital reality. I hold advanced credentials in trauma-informed assessment and intervention, integrative mental healthcare, and clinical mental health and nutrition consultation. In addition to clinical practice, I work as an Adjunct Professor and Campus Supervisor across various universities, with research lines centering on early psychosocial trauma, Psychological Intimate Partner Violence (P-IPV), and instrument design. In fact, I am lead author of the text "Covert Trauma Across the Lifespan: Viewing Psychosocial Trauma Through a Clinical Lens"—scheduled for release in Fall 2026 via Springer Publishing—the first comprehensive clinical resource of its kind, including a focus on phenomena such as narcissistic abuse, coercive control, gaslighting, parentification, and parental alienation—bridging the gap between clinical practice and contemporary culture. My further contributions to the field include: serving as a volunteer for the Florida Department of Health Crisis Management Team, scripting and acting in educational clinical demonstration videos, and designing, developing, and delivering board-accredited training programs for counselors and psychiatry residents—with a focus on psychoeducation, assessment, intervention, and client-centered collateral care. When off the clock, I kick it savagely low-key. In my opinion, the most sublime luxury in life is a great night's sleep! Otherwise, you can find me fumbling around on the acoustic bass, shamelessly reciting '90s hip-hop lyrics while cruising in the slow lane, binge-watching niche documentaries, attending stand-up shows, daydreaming of summers spent snorkeling in vivid tropical reefs, or expanding my highly curated collections of tiny boxes, rocks, boots, books, cats, and tats.

Hi there, I am Charly. As a clinical therapist, I admire your willingness to seek therapy support. I want to offer understanding, and empathic emotional support to assist anyone experiencing emotional distress. Most people tend to suffer silently in their heads, or minds, due to conscious or subconscious, self-blame, shame, or guilt feelings as they seem to feel helpless. Individuals experiencing acute emotional distress due to mental health conditions often fail to realize that unresolved, deep internal pain or heartache is silently triggering their emotional distress. One school of talk therapy called, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), proposes that the lack of the capacity for "Psychological Flexibility" and our brain's default, or Survival Mode functioning the instinctual responses of "Flight or Flight," as required for human survival. As, your therapist, I am willing to support you in exploring your difficulty or distress and examine the mental barriers or psychological blinders causing you to feel internally conflicted and stuck. Some of my past and current clients tell me that "my ability to relate to them with an open mind and withholding personal judgment and a solution-focused perspective," helps them to feel at ease and connect with me and my style of therapy. I follow an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from academic learning, experiential knowledge, and over 30 years of practicing experience using evidence-based treatment modalities based on scientific literature and up-to-date neuroscience research. I have training and experience in the following major treatment modalities such as CBT, REBT, SFBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and specifically to deal with trauma, a newer form of Rapid Eye Movement Therapy (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

Maybe you've been handling things on your own for a long time. From the outside, you may even seem like you're doing fine, but something doesn't feel right. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, frustrated, or simply tired of dealing with the same problems over and over. Career changes, relationship difficulties, separation or divorce, becoming a parent, changes in family roles, or other life transitions can leave you questioning what's next. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My approach is collaborative, straightforward, and practical. Together, we'll work to understand what's keeping you stuck and develop strategies that can help you create meaningful change in your everyday life. Many of the people I work with are used to handling things on their own but have reached a point where something isn't working anymore. They may be navigating stress, relationship difficulties, career or family changes, or simply feeling stuck. They want to better understand what's happening, make practical changes, and feel more confident about what comes next.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida since March 2007. I have over 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy and assessing adults, families and children in multiple settings. I consider myself skilled using a variety of clinical interventions (expressive arts with cognitive-behavioral, client-centered and trauma-informed approaches) in three languages: English, Spanish and French. I am a Colombian born immigrant who came to the US to further my education and practice as a psychotherapist. During my years of experience in psychotherapy I learned to incorporate the creative side of the human brain to facilitate expression and better flow the emotional communication. I have helped many people work through coping with life changes, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma and other multiple issues... I thrive in connecting with the person and developing trust, hope and faith in the therapeutic -and creative- process. My main focus is to provide a safe space for open conversations -via TeleHealth or in office- that allow the person to find their own path towards growing and healing. It takes courage to face our psychological challenges AND to take the first steps towards change, if you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you all the way! Hi, and welcome. I’m really glad you’re here. Taking the first step toward healing isn’t always easy, and the fact that you’re exploring support says a lot about your strength. Life can throw unexpected challenges our way, and sometimes those challenges make even the day‑to‑day feel overwhelming. I’m a licensed clinical social worker and qualified supervisor in the state of Florida. Since 2014, I’ve worked as a medical social worker in transplant, dialysis, and with individuals managing complex chronic and behavioral health needs. These experiences have taught me the importance of meeting people exactly where they are and honoring their lived experience. If you’re looking for a provider who will work with you to clarify your goals and create meaningful change, I invite you to schedule an initial consultation.

Hello! I’m a Florida-based Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, families, and groups across outpatient, inpatient, residential, and school-based settings. These experiences have taught me that no two people or stories are alike. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself as you navigate stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. As a former competitive athlete, I’ve learned firsthand the value of perseverance, resilience, teamwork, and showing up even when things feel difficult. These experiences have shaped both who I am and how I approach therapy. I see therapy as a partnership built on trust, genuine connection, and empathy. I use an integrative, evidence-based approach tailored to your unique needs, while meeting you where you are and working together to understand what matters most to you.

I completed my Masters in 2005, while also starting my journey in the field in 2004. I spent a year working in Opiate addiction but my true passion was children and families. I moved on to intensive services, working with underserved children and their families in rural areas, from 2005-2007. After leaving that position, I moved onto a company doing similar work. where I continued to work with children, families and adults that were underserved for 5 more years. I provided therapy in homes, schools and the office setting. I began to focus in on Trauma work as well as anxiety disorders to include OCD and all other anxiety disorders. After spending nearly 10 years in the field, I decided to get my license in the state of Florida (LMHC-Licensed Mental Health Counselor) and move into a management role where I worked for the past 13 years while also maintaining private clients. I supervise therapists, working to become licensed, so I spend a lot of time consulting on cases of all kinds. In this time I was also trained in various forms of trauma based cognitive behavioral approaches as well as EMDR (still learning however).

Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Reiki II practitioner. I believe that somewhere underneath the anxiety, the self-doubt, and the patterns that keep repeating, there is a version of you that already knows the way. My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space steady enough that you can actually hear yourself. Together we get curious about the thoughts that won't quiet down, the emotions that feel bigger than the moment, the behaviors that keep showing up even when you don't want them to, and what all of it is actually trying to tell you. I utilize a holistic approach, bringing tools into our work that help you understand what's happening in your mind and body when you're overwhelmed, so you can actually do something about it instead of just surviving it. But more than any method or modality, I show up as a real person walking alongside you, trusting that you are the expert on your own life. If you're ready to listen to that wiser part of yourself and create meaningful change, I'd be honored to walk with you.

Are you experiencing frustration, confusion or turmoil in your life? Even to the point where you see no sense of direction while trying to navigate through life? At times, this can be overwhelming for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, including other mental health disorders. Hi! My name is Stephaney and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with almost a decade of experience in treating adults and adolescents for various mental health challenges and co-occurring diagnoses. I was inspired to become a therapist by my unique experience migrating to the United States at the age of 13 and attending middle school which was very challenging for me. Culture shock became my reality and one that would eventually lead me to “Severe anxiety.” Even with a very strong family support system, I felt alone and trapped by my own inner fears and self-defeating thoughts. Constant worry and fear of being bullied by my peers became my everyday experience. Through all these obstacles, I was able to process my feelings and experiences with my faith in Jesus Christ, supportive family, and a few good friends. To this extent, I have come to recognize the benefits of a strong support system and the need for social and relational connection. As a mental health counselor, I’m privileged to be a part of that support system for many people. I work with my clients to connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, and actions, all while providing sound strategies to promote healthier thought processes. I believe that every human being deserves a chance to be heard and understood, and therapy has taught me that as human beings, we are more alike than different. So as your therapist, I’m excited to be a listening ear for you and help guide you toward your goals.

Are you looking for a space to navigate current stressors—somewhere you can unwind and express thoughts or emotions that feel too heavy to carry alone? Do you want support in understanding mental health symptoms or building a personalized toolbox of coping skills? Hi, I’m Maryam. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, born and raised, and of Venezuelan descent. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish. I graduated from the University of South Florida with degrees in Psychology and Health Sciences and later earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. My clinical experience includes working in mobile crisis response, outpatient counseling, addiction treatment, and telehealth therapy. Across all settings, my priority is to create a non-judgmental, safe, and welcoming environment where you can work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. I take a holistic approach and integrate a variety of therapeutic interventions, including art and music-inspired techniques, cognitive reframing to challenge negative self-talk, solution-focused strategies, and what I like to call “care-frontation.” I often offer optional tasks or reflections between sessions to help deepen your progress. I’d be honored to support you as we begin this healing journey together.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
