My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

One of the key aspects of CBT is its emphasis on collaboration between therapist and client. I work closely with clients to identify their automatic thoughts—those rapid, often subconscious interpretations of events—and examine how these thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors. Through various techniques such as cognitive restructuring, we challenge and reframe these thoughts to be more accurate, balanced, and adaptive.

Faith based therapy

I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their concerns through the lens of their faith. This often involves integrating scripture, prayer, and spiritual practices into the therapeutic process. For instance, I may incorporate biblical passages that relate to the client's struggles or use prayer as a means of seeking guidance and comfort.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Throughout the therapy process, I focus on highlighting and reinforcing clients' strengths, resilience, and past successes. By amplifying these positive aspects, clients are empowered to build on their strengths and take proactive steps towards achieving their goals. Overall, my experience with solution-focused therapy has shown me its effectiveness in promoting rapid and lasting change by helping clients shift their focus from problems to solutions. It's a collaborative and empowering approach that honors clients' autonomy and resilience while guiding them towards a brighter future.
