I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida with five years of experience supporting women who are currently in, or recovering from, intimate partner violence (IPV) relationships. I specialize in helping clients navigate the emotional impact of trauma, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the complex process of rebuilding after abuse.
I understand how difficult it can be to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next steps. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can begin to heal, regain your sense of self, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
I am a licensed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions, including divorce, separation, and shifts in identity or direction. I also support first responders who are managing chronic stress, burnout, and the emotional demands of high-intensity work, as well as individuals who are struggling with the transition into adulthood after high school and finding their footing in independence, relationships, and purpose.
My style is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in helping you make sense of what you’re going through without judgment. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, even if they’re doing their best to keep things together on the outside. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, understand patterns, and begin creating more clarity and stability in your life.
I integrate insight-oriented therapy with practical, evidence-based tools to help you build emotional awareness, improve coping skills, and make meaningful, sustainable change. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start—our work begins with where you are right now.

I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist, military veteran, and Certified Addiction Professional with experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I provide a supportive, direct, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel safe exploring difficult emotions and experiences. My approach combines evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients improve emotional regulation, build healthier coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. I have extensive experience working with military veterans, first responders, and individuals facing high-stress environments, unresolved trauma, and co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or emotionally exhausted from constantly caring for others while neglecting their own needs. If you’re caring for an aging parent, spouse, or another loved one over the age of 18, you don’t have to carry that stress alone.
My name is Clint, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Florida and Alabama. I specialize in supporting caregivers of older adults and individuals with disabilities over the age of 18 who may be struggling with burnout, anxiety, guilt, stress, or feeling emotionally drained.
As a former primary caregiver for my father, I understand firsthand the emotional and practical challenges caregiving can bring. Balancing medical appointments, family responsibilities, work demands, and the emotional weight of supporting a loved one can leave little time to care for yourself. Since 2011, I’ve worked alongside caregivers and families to help reduce burnout, build healthier boundaries, improve coping skills, and create more balance in daily life.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on practical tools you can use outside of sessions. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and supportive therapy to help clients manage stress, navigate difficult emotions, and reconnect with their own well-being.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. The first session is simply an opportunity for us to talk about what’s been weighing on you and explore whether working together feels like a good fit — with no pressure or expectations.
If you’re ready for support, I’d be honored to work alongside you.
If you are ready to set some personal goals and engage in growth, I would love to work with you. I work to meet you where you are, identifying goals in our intake session so that we can choose an evidence based curriculum that best fits your needs. I have experience with and utilize substance curriculums, anger management, trauma focused, grief focused, mindfulness based as well as a curriculum focused on becoming more open.
Are you feeling lost, stuck, or weighed down by past trauma? Or are you and your partner caught in repetitive cycles, struggling to truly connect? I specialize in helping individuals and couples move from feeling disconnected to living with deep purpose, clarity, and security.
For young adults and individuals feeling lost in life, I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) combined with existential and somatic-cognitive tools. Together, we will help you rediscover who you are, clarify your core values, and define exactly what you want your life to look like. We will process past pain, release physical trauma, and foster genuine post-traumatic growth so you can build a meaningful future.
For couples, I combine the Gottman Method and the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT). We will work in real-time to understand your nervous system responses, break negative communication loops, and build a secure, deeply connected partnership.
Whether you are navigating individual healing, identity exploration, or relationship growth, I provide a safe, actionable space to help you thrive.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I am a proud veteran of the US Army. I completed my Masters Degree at Wake Forest University and have been providing services for the past 9 years. I love working with clients to help identify what's happening "behind the scenes" in their lives so they can live the healthy and fulfilling lives they deserve.
My decision to become a therapist was deeply influenced by my own experiences navigating difficult periods in life and struggling to find the right support that I needed, and someone that I genuinely connected with. I understand how vulnerable, overwhelming, or uncertain it can feel to begin the therapy process. At the same time, I’ve seen how powerful therapy can be in creating meaningful change, greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, and long-term personal growth.
Life can present many challenges—grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, career dissatisfaction, major life transitions, and feelings of disconnection or uncertainty. Whatever brings you to therapy, your experiences are valid, and you do not have to navigate them alone. I strive to create a supportive, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where you feel safe exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
I believe that gaining deeper insight into yourself and making intentional choices toward healing and growth can be incredibly empowering. Together, we will work toward helping you build the tools, confidence, and self-awareness needed to create a life that feels authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.

In our work together, we will highlight your existing strengths while focusing on helping you gain clarity, emotional resilience, and connect with the most authentic version of yourself that feels grounded and empowered.
I want to know if you are tired of feeling anxious or depressed, you've tried, but nothing has helped, it just keeps spiraling? Are you feeling stressed about a job, a relationship, not having a social life, or like you're functioning at a low level? Are you experiencing mood swings, in relapse mode, or struggling with post traumatic stress? Acknowledging the situation was the first step, that is self-awareness. I specialize in helping you decide what you need, what you want, and finding out how to make the changes that will open doors for the new you. We walk part of your path together; I may be your guide but you are the driver. I take a holistic, solution-focused approach, focused on what you need in your life right now. I am also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, a modality that helps clients quickly make changes by accessing the deep roots that keep the negative and painful emotions alive. We access what lies beneath the thoughts and words, making changes in the emotional brain; by the end of the session, you feel empowered, happy, light-hearted.

Hello,
I am very happy to meet you here. My name is Cassandra Sams, but please call me Sandy. I have been working as a counselor for over 20 years. Most of my experience has been in private practice but I also spent some time in agencies working with children and adolescents. I believe the agency work gave me wonderful opportunities to work with families and to help them navigate very challenging issues like mood disorders and anxiety. I feel very privileged to have been allowed to help parents find new behaviors to help them navigate the world of parenting. I also have been able to help children and adolescents understand their parents' perspectives. Likewise, I really enjoy working with individuals who are dealing with various life transitions such as leaving school to go to college or into the workforce, leaving college and building a career, getting married and having children, or struggling with the mid-life crisis and coping with career changes or life changes such as divorce or deaths of family members. I do not consider myself to be the expert of your life. You are the expert and I am the witness. I feel honored and privileged to be invited into your life experiences and to be a witness to your life's journey. I believe that your story is sacred and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. I use cognitive behavioral strategies blended with existential therapy to assist you in discovering what your story is. My hope is that you will learn to love your stories as much as I do.
I’m a humanistic, person‑centered therapist who supports teens and adults navigating stress, anxiety, and overwhelming life demands. I help high‑achieving and highly sensitive clients slow down, build self‑awareness, and create healthier balance in their lives. Through compassionate exploration and mindfulness‑based practices, I guide clients in understanding their patterns, strengthening resilience, and making meaningful changes that lead to greater clarity, emotional well‑being, and a more grounded daily life.

I have been in the mental health field since 2007. I was informed when I first started in this field that the average time for people to stay in the field is two years. I am still in the field because helping others is more than a career choice for me, it is my passion in life. Helping others is a personal goal of mine. I look forward to the opportunity. I enjoy seeing people make positive changes in their lives. I have worked with families, couples, children, adolescents and teens, from various cultures and backgrounds. Each case and each client is unique in their way and each client is important.
My particular areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage counseling and family counseling. I refer to myself as a "simple-minded therapist" which means we will explore simple ways to address the presenting concerns because many times the solutions are so simple they can be easily overlooked. I am a firm believer that holding a conversation is more productive than expounding on theoretical approaches.
